Prevention of respiratory diseases and natural medicine.

in Natural Medicine3 years ago

Since 18 months, Covid pandemic has killed between 0,5 -3 % of infected populations. The age of infected people, comorbidity factors and the location are important variables. Public labs have tested many compounds and found that hydroxychloroquine, ivermectine, zinc and vitamin D may have a preventive effect.

Surprisingly for me and people using natural medicine, public labs did not evaluated the dozens of plants which are well known to have a preventive effect against respiratory diseases.
Economical effects and natural variability of plants are making studying herbal medicine difficult: plants are really cheap to grow compare to chemical compounds.

Proving the preventive efficiency of a treatment against Covid requires hiring cohorts of thousands of people, maybe 50,000 and comparing there behavior to another cohort of 50,000 people which do not follow the treatment. This is very expensive. Collective tools like Hive could make it more accessible, but we are not there yet.

On the other side, if you think that a treatment could be positive for health, it would not be ethical not to propose it. So I am proposing this recipe:

Garlic have anti-viral properties

Thyme is efficient to fight respiratory diseases

and Qi Gong is recommended to improve your immune system

I am not a doctor in medicine but I have a scientific background, I learn Shiatsu and read some books about Traditional Chinese Medicine.

So if this recipe to prevent Covid infection could save one person only, I am happy to write these 4 posts about it. This preventive treatment has not been evaluated but do not include any potential negative effects.

Thyme, garlic and Qi Gong can be find almost everywhere on the globe and can be grow in many places.

Of course, you are welcome to follow official prevention treatment like washing your hands and respecting social distancing. Please, consult your usual doctor if you don’t feel good.

Have a nice day.
