There are actually many candied fruit with easy cooking techniques and ingredients. This type of candied fruit does not have a stipulation on what fruit is the staple, you can add any fruit according to your taste. But for now the ingredient is pears, so it is called a typical Acehnese candied pear. If apples are made into sweets, then the name is a typical Aceh apple sweets. The name of the candied fruit in this recipe depends on the type of fruit used as the raw material. usually we serve it in a form like fruit soup. But, the difference is, the sauce that is served is thicker, with a spicy, sweet, and salty taste.

pears are high in vitamin C, vitamin B, K, copper, magnesium, and potassium.

Sunti acid is a kitchen spice from Aceh made from starfruit. (boh limeng in aceh language). The process of making sunti acid is done by drying the star fruit in the sun until it withers. After the first drying, star fruit is sprinkled with salt and kept in the shade. Then let it sink in. The next day, dried in the sun again.
This process is repeated several times until the star fruit is brown and dry, and the water content decreases. The high acid and salt content in sunti acid can inhibit the decay process by microorganisms.

Palm sugar is sugar made from sap, which is the liquid that is released from the flowers of the palm tree. Nutrients contained in palm sugar include zinc, iron, inulin fiber, and magnesium. Palm sugar also has calories, fat, and a lower glycemic index than granulated sugar.

Wow, this looks like an appetizing dish. Also, I've never heard of Sunti acid, a very interesting way to achieve a sour flavor.

I regret to inform you pears were one of the ingredients of last week's challenge. This week the ingredients are cassava, lentils, peanuts, jackfruit, pomegranate, and bananas.
