Authored by @justinparke

Greetings #plantbased chefs, @JustinParke here with a new Plant Power Cooking Challenge. As @NaturalMedicine's Plant-Based Curator, I get to witness all the culinary happenings on Hive, and I am thankful for this opportunity to highlight and reward some of this blockchain's most delicious recipes. We now roll into Week #8.

Each Thursday I post a list of ingredients that you can use in any combination to make your recipe submission, and I share the link within the Plant Power curation posted every Thursday via the main @NaturalMedicine account.

WEEK #8 🧠 Think Outside The Box 📦

This week I have provided some very basic ingredients while also providing some ingredients that may require you to think outside the box. I try to use ingredients that will inspire and challenge our very diverse gang of chefs from all around the world, so I'm very excited to see this week's submissions.

Chef @katerinhernandez's soup was full of color and freshness, and of course @carolynstahl never fails to impress, this time with a some tempting tempeh wraps. Chef @farmlife shared a traditional lemon pickle that I want to eat with some chapatis right now.

Not to be left out were delicious entries from kyleana and pravilsabu. So many new faces join this challenge every week, and I am thankful to know so many talented chefs on this blockchain.

Congratulations @katerinhernandez!! You are the winner of 25 LOTUS, 5 HIVE, and a 5% beneficiary of this post.

Of course, my pleasure. I figure the Indians and Europeans will do well with semolina. I ate semolina for breakfast as a kid, but we know it as "Cream of Wheat" in the USA. Perhaps Canada has their own brand, not sure. You're pretty good with pasta, I'm sure you'll have no troubles whipping up a delicious treat. !ENGAGE 20

Oh man... semolina??? Reminds me of my Nana... she was german, and would do semolina with a swirl of jam.... **of she pops to shops...

The Dutch have left semolina here in Suriname, I think it is sold as "griestmeel" or some similar name. For me semolina was only ever a breakfast food, but Indians have some awesome savory ways of preparing it too. !ENGAGE 15

it's so difficult to find those ingredients in my country, I can only work with pasta and peppers, and on the sweet side only rice.

Pasta and peppers are fine. Remember, you only need to use one of the ingredients in the way mentioned. All you have to do is make a savory past dish, no need to involve any of other ingredients. I use six ingredients every time so everybody around the world has a chance at using one of the ingredients. Hope to see an entry from you. Thanks for stopping by. !ENGAGE 15
