Some highlights of the week

I love @homestead-guru's work and it was hard to choose between two of their posts this week. I've chosen to feature this fantastic one on safe foraging and wildcrafting, but highly recommend the enjoyable read on ladybirds too.

I haven't have chance to finish listening to this, but felt it was a must to share for anyone considering or living an off-grid lifestyle.

Well, @goldenoakfarm is giving us a lesson in resourcefulness and making the most of what you've got with this kousa, dogwood jam. It's a new experience for her and perhaps some things have been learnt for next year's harvest.

Growing up my friend's mum always had rescue remedy on hand. I've never really considered how it was made , but recently it's been talked about much more frequently. @benavides54 discusses the ingredients of this remedy and how each flower in it works.

Each week one of our featured authors will be selected to be a 5% beneficiary of The Lotus Garden newsletter. This week @homestead-guru will receive this award.

Awesome curation @minismallholding!

I'm originally from the USA, Kentucky/Indiana to be exact, but never heard of that kousa fruit before, nor seen it. NM folks never cease to amaze me, I've learned so much from this community.

They make you realise how little you know, don't they! They're a real eyeopener

Immensely grateful for taking my post into account, and allowing me to expand my knowledge of this wonderful gift that Mother Earth gives us through floral energy. Everything that can be said about the benefits that plants bring in all their facets on the physical plane and through their energy will never be enough. Thank you very much @naturalmedicine for your support.

I've never heard of dogwood, but I really enjoy @goldenoakfarm's post and can never figure out how she finds the time to do all she does! I must listen to that podcast too.

She's pretty amazing, isn't she! I've heard the mention of dogwood before, but for some radon imagined it as poisonous. I need to finish listening to the podcast too.
