Those of you who've seen the 1998 movie The Truman Show... Let's be honest here, it sure seems like we're living ( in ) it these days.

Doesn't it feel like everything around us is staged? As if we are, in fact, the main actor in one big show?

If you haven't seen the Truman Show, I highly recommend it. If you have, you might want to give it another go one of these days.

Today, while staring at a grassy field filled with thousands of flowers in primary colors - mainly poppies, cornflowers and daisies - I marveled at the bumblebees doing their natural, but oh so important, work. All of them just BE(e)ing in the now, all the time.

I couldn't help smiling :<)

Later, it dawned on me, that what those bumblebees were doing, can be taken as a metaphor for those people who are spreading love, kindness and positivity, around here - on Hive - as well as in the outside world.

I like to think that it's a metaphor for all of us who do good, both on- and offline. All who aim to make the world a better place, by making it a little brighter, step by little important step, making sure that - slowly but steadily - flowers will continue to spread and bloom all over the world.

I hope that the following stories will help plant some life changing seeds in your soul.

Thank you for being the best you that you can be! 💚

In This is a Time to Follow Your Bliss , @julianhorack explains how the whole virus and lockdown situation and its consequences can be seen as a new chance.

In the coming life after lockdown, in the brave new world, we have had time to examine our lives, to reflect, and to remember the dreams we used to have of who we could be or what we could do, of what was our bliss, and now with the release from months of house arrest, we may be able to feel a sense of a second life, a second chance, and we may be able to grasp it and either out of force of circumstance, out of desperation form a means to survive, or out of remembrance of what a great opportunity the remainder of our lives might be, we can now act to follow our bliss.

In Cultivating a No Judgement Zone - Keeping in Touch with your Reality ,
@porters reminds us - not for the first time - what mindfulness is all about:
Focusing on the now, the present moment.

Instead of reacting emotionally to situations, running on autopilot, may I suggest you stop, try to be in the moment and take a good look at what is actually happening around you. What is your actual reality at this present moment. Focus on the current moment without letting your emotions take over.
