My fellow Hivers, welcome to this new edition of Mindful Life. So far 2021 has been a wild ride and we're only entering the hardest, bumpiest stretch of the road. As the Sun enters Aquarius this week and Mars approaches Uranus in Taurus, the motto is "expect the unexpected". Lots of unpredictable, blitz revolutions and changes are taking place right before our eyes, and the process is just lifting off. It's thus a good time to prepare!

I didn't have to go far to get you the selection of posts you'll see below. All of them are posted in our community by wonderful authors with undeniable dedication and much wisdom to share. They all concern the reordering of our personal space at all levels, the cleansing of our bodies and the building of communities for better prospects of living. Don't forget to leave them a comment and upvote their work!

Let's start this curation with an amazing and pretty thorough post by @jasonliberty, who has been roaming the land in search for new experiences and adventures, and is now staying at a commune in Sierra Nevada, California. He explains all of the processes of daily life in the commune and, I must say, it sounds amazingly beautiful! The pictures are awesome too.

Next we have this really cool contribution by @phoenixwren, detailing a few of the things she regularly does out of respect for the environment and her own pocket, which include reusing calendars and plastic bags, purchasing recycled products and such. I think we all need to apply these tips to our routines, and this post is a good place to exchange ideas about that.

Decluttering our space and reusing the stuff in our homes is indeed quite effective, but there's one aspect that we should be even more sensitive about: the state of our minds, emotions and bodies. The more integrity we have in those aspects, the better and easier our lives become. Take a look at the advice @rafabvr shares with us about this crucial topic. Congratulations for the format too!

Mental hygiene: useful tips

It's easy and convenient to blame the world around us for our grievances and hardships, but the harsh truth is that we're responsible for everything that happens to us. If we really lookin to the things that displease or restrain us, we're faced with the inescapable fact that we've chosen them. In her podcast, @clareartista discusses the issue of resistance and self-imposed oppression.

Who is the real tyrant?

Taking care of our homes, habits, thoughts and feelings must be complemented with a profound and honest study of our bodies. Our physical system always reflects what's going on inside of us, and state of our relationships and how well we perform in general. @vicnzia explains the importance delving into the mental, physical and spiritual obstructions behind pains in our hips.

Why do your hips hurt?

There are many healing methods where a trained practitioner uses channeling skills to redirect energy into the patient's body, thus promoting recovery even from serious illnesses. In this beautiful post, @benavides54 discusses one of this practices, known as Pranic Healing after Prana, as life-force is known in Hinduism and akin philosophies. Have you ever tried this method?

What do you know about Pranic Healing?

I finish this edition with yet another magnificent poem by @d-pend (we missed you, brother) accompanied with some of his wonderful digital artworks. Although the interpretations for this text can be many, I find that it speaks most deeply about emancipation, the experience of life in full flowering and filled with the infinity of love. A tip: read it out loud, it's beautifully written!

Certainly a lovely selection of reading there! I'd like to think that 2021 is going to be a year of rebuilding and opening to new possibilities... and it will certainly be eventful, but hopefully not as traumatic as 2020 was for many of us...

Bright Blessings!
