Hello, everyone! Welcome to a new edition of the Mindful Life curation column. First off, make ready for next Thursday's Full Moon in Leo, which I call the Golden Moon of January. It'll really set things in motion for this year and it'll bring wonderful creative energy, so prepare your rituals and meditations, plan something nice to do that day, have good food and drink ready and connect with fulfillment!

The posts I bring today are mostly from our very own community, and the focus is simplicity, self-observation, finding renewed mystery and wonder in all the things that have been with us our entire lives, and also in the secret alliances that we've unknowingly cultivated for years. It's a New Year, a New World and a New Life for our species. Let's make the most of it with every breath!

@iliyan90 lives in a truly cold place, but that doesn't seem to bother him. On the contrary, he's found great power in the gelid weather of his region thanks to conscious breathing and yoga practices, and wishes to share with us a part of his experience along with some wonderful pictures of winter beauty. I find this fascinating, what about you?

I love walking. There's been times in my life when I wasn't so thrilled about it, mostly because it was a demand of my routine and my job, but that's over. The same thing has happened to @cronosclocks, who shares with us a few insights about the benefits of walking, watching the skies and feeling the breeze, especially during challenging times.

Take a break and go for a walk

We've all missed wonderful opportunities in our lives, sometimes so obviously that we rage at ourselves for years. If we're not paying attention to our emotions, we may end up ruling out relevant knowledge and paths of discovery out of fear. This is what @kenechukwu97 stresses in this post, and he's not about to let that happen ever again. And you? How do you approach novelty?

How do you react to opportunities

I love the work that @whatamidoing has been putting into the community. It speaks to me of passion and expansion. In this beautiful post, he speaks about something important that's also deeply related to the attention we pay to our surroundings: admirers and allies, people who consider us relevant but who don't necessarily know how to express it. Keep an eye out for those!

Who is secretly watching you and cheering you on?

I finish this curation with this amazing post by @vikthor, who tells us about his long relations with the Pleiades, as well as his profound research on them, the things that he's discovered in his ancestry about them, how this knowledge has been revealed to him and what it might mean for humanity at large. A magical text full of videos to consult if you're interested!

My long fascination with the Pleiades Star Cluster

In every curation, we reward one of our delegators as a 5% beneficiary. This week I randomly chose @thistle-rock

Thanks for having me in your post.

Really nice post, man!

Definitely, some lovely selections. These days — with all that is going on in the world — paying attention to "simple things" is perhaps the best healing we can offer ourselves!
