On the first of every month, HIVE folk power up all their HIVE to show support of this wonderful platform.

Criteria:
- You write great #naturalmedicine content on a fairly consistant basis (between 1 and 5 times a fortnight)
- You power up on PUD day
- You've written a post in this community in the last week of the month (that's from now until the 31st).
Basically I'm assessing if you've been community minded and a good HIVER, and for many of you, you'll fit the criteria no problem BECAUSE YOU ARE AWESOME.
Did you know you can get HELP with powering up?
Yes, that's right! You can get a HIVE POWER UP BADGE, but ONLY if you power up 10 HIVE or more.
Don't have the 10 HIVE? Only have 4.98 or 8.92? We'll make up the difference for any #naturalmedicine blogger and help you out! All you need to do is DM @riverflows (Discord riverflows#4691) and she'll make sure it gets done. **NB: Delegators are prioritized, but this is not essential.

I believe Hive has the ability to grow far beyond our current expectations, and it's encouraging to me to see other people (from whales to the tiniest fish in the Hive ocean) powering up, as it shows we all share the same long term vision for our blockchain home. And as we saw with what happened on that other blockchain, the more we all power up, the more voice we all have in governance (higher stake means your vote counts for more), so we can have our say in things like top witnesses, proposals, and such. Plus there's something to be said for the financial benefit of bigger curation rewards, and earning passive income from the interest off our stake.
We totally agree - off to see how much @naturalmedicine, @lotusshares and @uplotus can power up for PUD day!
