Roberto Carlos sang that he wanted to have a million friends and thus he would be able to sing stronger. I really don't want to have a million friends but only the necessary ones. Those who are there for me when I need it most. Many of them have shown it to me through these difficult times. Despite the distance and the current circumstances that separate us, we remain together and taking care of each other.
Roberto Carlos decía que él quería tener un millón de amigos y así más fuerte poder cantar. Yo realmente no quiero tener un millón de amigos sino los necesarios. Esos que estén allí para mí cuando más lo requiera. Muchos de ellos me lo han demostrado a través de estos momentos difíciles. A pesar de la distancia y de las circunstancias actuales que nos separan, seguimos juntos y pendientes los unos de los otros.

For me, friends are those brothers that life gives you. Those who are unconditional with you and that many times you can count on them more than on your own family. Which has happened to me, but in short, I do not want to focus my post on that.
Los amigos son para mí esos hermanos que te regala la vida. Esos que son incondicionales contigo y que muchas veces puedes contar con ellos más que con tu propia familia. Cosa que me ha pasado, pero en resumidas cuentas, no quiero enfocar mi post en eso.

During my life I have had many friends, some seasonal, that I met in some specific circumstance and they are no longer with me. Others have been more permanent, which I have had for over twenty years even. I lost track of a friend from school and I found him here in Quito. Our meeting is still pending.
Durante mi vida he tenido muchos amigos, algunos estacionales, que conocí en alguna circunstancia específica y ya no están conmigo. Otros han sido más permanentes, los cuales he tenido por más de veinte años incluso. Recién le perdí la pista a un amiguito de la escuela y me lo conseguí aquí en Quito. Nuestro encuentro aún está pendiente.

Friends, besties, brothers; I have always said that life is more beautiful, if we can share our moments with our family and friends and for them I am very grateful today. Why are you grateful today?
Amigos, panas, brothers; siempre he dicho que la vida es más bonita, si podemos compartir nuestros momentos con nuestros familiares y amigos y por ellos estoy muy agradecida hoy. ¿Por qué estás agradecido hoy?
