Processing Pakcoy As Healthy Food.

Pakcoy or often referred to as mustard greens is a type of plant with healthy vegetables, this plant has good properties for the health of the body, one of the benefits of consuming this plant is that it can prevent cancer and nourish the digestive system.

There are many ways we can do to get the benefits of this plant, one of which is to make the plant into a vegetable to eat in everyday life.

On this occasion I will give brief tips on how to process this plant into delicious food, processed using natural spices that are very good for health, you can enjoy stir-fried pakcoy dishes as a side menu for rice at lunch.

My writing about this dish follows the #plantbased cooking challenge every week by @justinparke and today I want to cook stir-fried pokcoy. This post is my second post on the challenge of cooking, here's how to process these green plants into delicious and nutritious food for health.

The main thing needed in concocting a food menu is kitchen utensils, kitchen utensils are of course used as a means of supporting cooking needs. The kitchen utensils that I use are cooking stoves, cooking pots, cooking spoons, tablespoons, dinner plates, knives, cutting boards, and other kitchen utensils.

To cook stir-fried pakcoy food, what I do is prepare ingredients from natural spices such as mustard greens, onions, garlic, scallions, red chilies, cayenne pepper, oyster sauce, pepper, salt, sugar, food stock, water, cooking oil and tomatoes.

After I prepare the ingredients, then I cut or slice the ingredients or spices one by one until they are finished, I wash all of the ingredients first before cutting and after cutting.

The next step is to mix stir-fried pokcoy food into delicious food, as for the method as follows.

First boil the water until it boils after that take the mustard greens that have been washed earlier, if the boiled water has boiled then put the mustard greens into the cooking pot. Boil the mustard greens for only two minutes, if boiled too long the vegetables will become mushy. After the mustard greens have been boiled, the next thing is to drain the vegetables.

For the second step, prepare the spices to mix the stir-fried pakcoy dishes, heat the cooking oil first using a pan, if it is hot, add enough garlic, stir-fry and stir until smooth. Then add the sauteed onions until wilted and slightly browned so that the aroma is felt, stir until smooth and add the chilies and stir until evenly distributed. Add the scallions and tomatoes, mix well, then pour in the oyster sauce to taste, stir until evenly distributed.

If the food has been stirred until evenly distributed then add the food broth, add pepper, salt and sugar to taste, stir all the spices evenly until they are completely cooked. Add enough water as needed and stir until evenly distributed, if the spices have soaked into one or have finished blending the thing to do is serve this delicious food.

Serving this food is very simple, put the boiled mustard greens onto a dinner plate and then pour the vegetables with the spices that have been mixed earlier until evenly distributed. When finished, serve the dish on the table for a side dish of rice. Pakcoy is very delicious and delicious if eaten while it is still hot, this food has a fairly high nutritional value and is beneficial for health. Enjoy.

Pakcoy food is indeed very simple in processing, this food is very popular with Indonesian people even though this vegetable is not from that country, but the popularity of pakcoy food is extraordinary in Indonesia.

Thank you for stopping by to take a little time to read my writing, greetings of friendship.

Looks really tasty chef, thanks for sharing. I really love the presentation too, well done.

Thank you, please guidance and input it so I can make a post about the dishes better ... Let's share, I really like the idea of your challenge.

I hope in the future there are other interesting challenges in the world of cooking.

What a beautiful dish. I love those kind of greens but when I go to the Asian store there are many that I don't know. I will look out for this. I love the sauce being poured on top.

I am hungry looking at this!!
