How to prioritize self-care in everyday life?

in Natural Medicine3 years ago

Self-care sounds easy but most of us are actually very ignorant towards it. When we get some leisure, we start to scroll our social media feed or doing something online. This is very contradictory to self-care. Even knowing this many would not be able to make it a priority.

Let's see how we can include this in daily life!

  1. Take a good look at your schedule. Notice when you get some time to include some self-care practice, even if it's for ten minutes only.

  2. Reschedule your day if possible and necessary. It's can't be true if you say you can spare half an hour from a 24 hours day for yourself. Make some time for yourself you can accommodate.

  3. Make time for relationships. Not only spending personal time, to improve self-care practice we need to take care of our relationships too. Spending time with our beloved, friends and family can boost us for sure.

  4. Learn to shoot yourself through some self-care. Sometimes a good meditation session can't give us a calm and peaceful feeling if we don't learn to shoot ourselves through this. That's why giving us more time and understanding our approach can help us.

Self-care is something that can't be achieved by someone else. But we can get help from others like reducing our work pressure so we can get more time. But until we make ourselves aware of its necessity, no one can help us.

When we notice our schedule and reschedule it prioritizing self-care, it will help us in every way. Making half an hour or ten minutes is not that tough after all.

We indeed need to make more time for ourselves. I myself need to learn to be still and "talk" to myself, meaning listen to what my body and mind are telling me.

Yeah you right, it's kind of meditation. Thanks for inputs 😊

Oh and breathe more... Listen to our breathing pattern and consciously breathe.

This is something that needs to be in the front of our Minds all day every day. Tool box:)
