Greetings dear community, for lunch today I wanted to prepare some chicken shawarmas but I did not have bread at home and, it was raining a lot and I could not go out to buy it, as I had already taken the breast to thaw I decided to prepare them in strips with all the vegetables that he had available in the fridge and thus solve the lunch.
¡Ahora manos a las !/ Hands to the pots!
Ingredientes:1 pechuga de pollo
1 pimentón verde
1 pimentón rojo
1 cebolla blanca
2 ajíes dulce
1 cucharada de pasta de cúrcuma y ajo
½ taza de maíz dulce
1 tallo de ajo porro
Sal y pimienta al gusto.
1 chicken breast
1 green bell pepper
1 red pepper
1 white onion
2 sweet peppers
1 tablespoon turmeric garlic paste
½ cup sweet corn
1 stalk of garlic joint
Salt and pepper to taste.
Paso a paso / Step by step:
🍗 First we bone the breast and cut it into thin strips, then we add the ginger, a splash of oil and the garlic and turmeric paste, we reserve it in the fridge while we cut the vegetables.
🍗We finely chop all the vegetables, I hope that tomorrow I can go out to buy some groceries; Because there are no vegetables left in the fridge, although weekends are when you can find the freshest in the market, but well, I'll see what I can buy.
🍗 In a frying pan with hot oil, add a splash of oil and then add the vegetables, when they are wilted, season them and reserve them on a plate.
🍗 In the same pan where we sauté the vegetables, we add the chicken, when it is fully cooked we add the vegetables and rectify the salt and pepper point, I particularly like to be generous with the pepper point.
