My daughter has cautioned me that the people I communicate with on Hive are not real :)) Well, I guess she should have been at your meetup, or at Hive Fest.
I like to see Hiveans engage with each other in 'real' life. The warmth that I feel when I communicate here, every day, becomes concrete.

When I started at #Hive, I held a face-to-face meeting with several people, some of whom were already familiar with the ecosystem, but our teacher @guitarmcy did a great job of explaining the benefits of blockchain to us.
