Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of cultures and customs. Various ethnicities and religions live in harmony in Indonesia, from the western tip of Sumatra to the eastern tip of Papua all unite and take care of each other. Besides being known for this, my country also has abundant natural resources, the geographical structure of Indonesia which consists of islands, seas, and volcanoes makes our land fertile and rich in spices.

Cultural diversity and supported by abundant natural resources bring its own blessings, Indonesia has a lot of culinary variations, especially traditional drinks that have a healthy effect on the body. Maybe, you know "jamu" as one of the traditional drinks for treatment, but there are so many types of traditional drinks in Indonesia. Such as, talua tea (Minang - West Sumatra), wedang (central Java), or bajigur (Sunda-West Java). This time I will invite you to get to know and make one of the traditional Indonesian drinks that have benefits for the body, namely Bajigur.

Bajigur is one of Indonesia's traditional drinks. This drink originally came from West Java, and then spread along with many Sundanese people who went abroad. Bajigur is a drink that is very suitable to drink in cold weather. When we drink this drink, we will feel the savory sensation of coconut milk, the sweetness of palm sugar, and the warmth of ginger. In my opinion, bajigur has an authentic Indonesian taste. The basic ingredients and making Bajigur are very easy, you can follow the following method.

I resstem your post I read it with a lot of pleasure, I don't know much about Indonesia and it's cool read about the difference in a same nation, in Italy too we have some cultural difference but not so much as in Indonesia.

Indonesia has a symbol, different but still one, and indeed the very real diversity of the culture in Indonesia.

Thanks for sharing :)

Lemongrass with coffee?! Wow that is an interesting combination. I'm definitely going to try it. I love new flavours and international cuisine. Thanks @aswita for the inspiration

The funny thing is somehow you can also use the word "BAJIGUR" as a swearing word. Do you know why?

I love bajigur, but I never try to make it by my self. I always buy the instant bajigur. But I would be love it if you can send me a cup of bajigur because it's rainy outside and I think it's a perfect time to drink bajigur.

You're so far away, when bajigur've been up to your house, may bajigur has become dry and rotten

It's become bajigur wine.

Maybe we should try that.

This is my favorite drink but I have never think that make bajigur was like that. It's little bit hard ahahaha

You must try ndari! Maybe can make your stressed be healing :)
