Making fresh tuna salad for lunch #food for foodies and the recipe

Its sunday when me and hubby prepare this salad for us to eat at launch tomorrow, we just came from the snow and like being in the kitchen and making nice recipies. And now I have the opportunity to make a blog about it aswell.

As said we are making TUNA SALAD, I love fish and in the diet its allowed. I skip the mayonaise and change it for yoghurt. In the recipe there is a choice.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR 4 PERSONS:

160 gr canned tuna in oil.
½ teaspoon of yellow mustard.
40 g pickles
1 small onion ( red or white all depends on your taste )
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
A few drops of Tabasco (to taste)
2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt or mayonaise
Pinch of pepper and salt.
Fresh bread.

Preparation time about 10 minutes with cutting the ingredients.

Finely chop the red or white onion and pickles. I like it very small in my salads, so chop away. Drain the tuna for to much oil and place in a bowl. Add the pickle and onion and toss to combine. Add the mustard, lemon juice, Mayonaise or Greek yogurt and season the mixture with Tabasco, pepper and salt.

Keep the tuna salad closed in a tupperware box in the refrigerator. Its always the best the next day. The tastes have blended and in a box you can keep it for three to four days. Delicious on bread or in my diet case on a cracker. I am allowed two and I had a yummy lunch.

Es domingo cuando mi esposo y yo preparamos esta ensalada para comer en el lanzamiento mañana, acabamos de llegar de la nieve y nos gusta estar en la cocina y hacer buenas recetas. Y ahora también tengo la oportunidad de hacer un blog al respecto.

Como dije, estamos haciendo ENSALADA DE ATÚN, me encanta el pescado y en la dieta está permitido. Me salto la mayonesa y la cambio por yogur. En la receta hay una opción.

INGREDIENTES NECESARIOS PARA 4 PERSONAS:

160 gr de atún enlatado en aceite.
½ cucharadita de mostaza amarilla.
40 g de pepinillos
1 cebolla pequeña (roja o blanca, todo depende de tu gusto)
1 cucharada de jugo de limón.
Unas gotas de Tabasco (al gusto)
2 cucharadas de yogur griego o mayonesa
Pizca de pimienta y sal.
Pan fresco.

Tiempo de preparación unos 10 minutos con el corte de los ingredientes.

Pica finamente la cebolla roja o blanca y los pepinillos. Me gusta muy pequeño en mis ensaladas, así que córtelo. Escurrir el atún por mucho aceite y colocar en un bol. Agregue el pepinillo y la cebolla y revuelva para combinar. Agrega la mostaza, el jugo de limón, la mayonesa o el yogur griego y sazona la mezcla con tabasco, pimienta y sal.

Mantenga la ensalada de atún cerrada en una caja de tupperware en el refrigerador. Siempre es lo mejor al día siguiente. Los sabores se han mezclado y en una caja puedes guardarlo de tres a cuatro días. Delicioso con pan o en mi caso dietético con una galleta. Me permiten dos y tuve un delicioso almuerzo.

I loved this recipe, and I really liked that you also published it in Spanish, as this makes it easier for Spanish speakers to read it and make it later. Tuna is delicious in salads, in stews, in sauces, in cakes. I really like when the recipes are accompanied by a story, as you have done here, saying that you are coming with your husband back from the snow. It is these anecdotes that enrich the publication; also, your step by step is great. I liked the combination of tuna with Greek yogurt, it is an alternative in times of diet. A great greeting.


Me encantó esta receta, y me gustó mucho que la hayas publicado también en Español, pues esto facilita que los hispanohablantes podamos leerla y hacerla posteriormente. El atún es delicioso en ensaladas, en guisos, en salsas, en pasteles. Me gusta mucho cuando las recetas vienen acompañadas de una historia, tal como has hecho aquí, hablando que vienes con tu esposo de regreso de la nieve.
