Es muy común escuchar la frase "las arepas de mi mamá son las mejores" porque para cada hijo es así. Mas allá del sabor de la comida, es el sentimiento especial que causa el hecho de que sea tu madre quien lo prepara.
Las madres ponen su amor en absolutamente todo. Por ejemplo mi mamá no cocina mucho, casi siempre soy yo quien lo hace, pero cuando ella me prepara algo, se nota que se esfuerza en que le quede muy rico.
Mi abuela era experta en hacer unas arepas perfectas, era conocida por sus arepas y todo el que alguna vez las comió sabe que es así, pregúntenle a @evelynchacin y @esthefanychacin. Cuando mi abuela enfermó no pudo hacer más arepas, así que la responsabilidad de seguir con esa tradición pasó a mi mamá.
Les puedo decir que de toda mi familia, mi mami es la única que tiene el truco que usaba mi abuelita para que las arepas quedaran tan perfectamente redondas y suaves.
A mí las arepas no me quedan bien, así que ese trabajo siempre se lo dejo a ella y sé que siempre las hace con mucho amor porque sabe cuánto me gustan.
En resumen, la receta de la arepa perfecta ha sido un tesoro que ha pasado de una generación a otra y cuyo ingrediente especial es EL AMOR ❤️ por eso esta es mi comida favorita.
