Raw Banana Flatbread : Kachche Kele Ke Paranthe कच्चे केले के परांठे

In my previous post, I shared how we prepare fenugreek leaves flatbread.

Today in breakfast we prepared Raw Banana Flatbread i.e. called Kachche Kele Ke Paranthe. Usually, ripe banana is used to make sweet banana bread but here it is totally different.

We all know that ripe banana is rich in various nutrients and calories but raw bananas or green bananas also have so many health benefits.

Raw bananas are not sweet or have a slightly sweet taste and also have some bitterness. Their texture is somewhat waxy and contains a high quantity of starch which transform into sugars when fully ripe.

Green bananas are rich in fibres and a good source of pectin. Also, there are some essential nutrients like Vitamin B6, Copper, Potassium, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Manganese found in raw bananas.

The resistant starch and pectin in green bananas can provide a number of health benefits, including improved blood sugar control and better digestive health

Due to its taste and texture, green banana can not be eaten like ripened banana so it is used in various recipes and to make curries etc.

One of my favourite green banana recipes is Raw Banana Flatbread. It is not only easy to make but also delicious and healthy.

Today in the breakfast I helped my wife to make this flatbread.

Ingredients required

  • Green bananas 6 nos

Here we also prepared tomato chutney to serve with these paranthas.

How good is this recipe @chetanpadliya! I like that you have made such a detailed explanation, with such good photos, what's more, I'm going to save it, because today I causally harvested bananas (topochos). On the other hand, you offer a very good explanation regarding the nutritional value of green and ripe bananas, raw and cooked, that is a plus for your recipe. Nice job. Greetings.

Buen trabajo. Saludos.
