Feliz martes mis amores de esta bella comunidad #Hive en esta oportunidad les traigo una receta de una merienda muy sabrosa que prepare el fin de semana cuando tuve la visita de una prima, mientras preparaba este delicioso postre me remonte a mis días de juventud cuando visitaba a mi abuela y ella para consentirnos nos elaboraba esta merienda para degustarla cuando nos levantáramos de dormir la siesta, ya tengo un poco mas de un año que no logro viajar a visitarla por todo esto de la pandemia pero ya llegara el momento preciso que vaya a pasar unos días con ella y mis tíos, espero que sea de su agrado y puedan prepararlo en casita.

Materiales:

  • 500 gr de arroz blanco
  • 500 gr de azúcar
  • 1 coco grande
  • medio papelón
  • canela en palo y en polvo.

Preparación:
Primeramente iniciamos partiendo el coco y quitandole la corteza dura es decir la concha, debemos cortarlos en trocitos pequeños, lavar y licuar en 2 tazas de agua seguidamente colarlo para extraer de eso la leche, agregándole màs agua mientras vamos colando, debemos hacerlo rendir sacando para 4 1/2 tazas de leche de coco.

En una olla grande, debemos echar gran parte de la leche, agregar la canela en palo con el arroz y la pizca de sal poner a cocinar a fuego lento hasta que el arroz esté blando, revolver frecuentemente con una paleta de madera con esto evitaremos que se pegue en el fondo de la olla.

Cuando el arroz ya esté con una consistencia blanda tenemos que agregarle el papelón en trozos o preferiblemente ya rayado, dejamos cocinar hasta que el papelón se haya disuelto totalmente también agregarle un poco de azúcar al gusto con un vaso de leche de coco y revolver todo.

Dejar en cocción hasta que medianamente ya seque luego retirar del fuego después dejar reposar y para la hora de servir le puedes rociar canela en polvo.
