My gorgeous artist friend from Cyprus is here, and we're catching up after 20 yrs!
She made lunch: this utterly divine salad, with leaves and fruit straight from the garden - spinach, dandelion, wild fennel, basil, fig, mulberry - mixed gently with fresh, local olive oil and tomatoes.... and washed down with my handpicked homecured olives and the last of a very good bottle of lightly frizzante vino rosso.
Heaven.... Looking forward now to the evening aperitivo with friends in the gardens!
