Greetings lovers of good food in Hive, today I want to share with you a wonderful dessert that has become very popular in my city, brought directly from Prague Czech Republic, prepared by a company called Conos Prague, which already has two locations in the city.
Saludos amantes de la buena comida en Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un maravillo postre que se ha vuelto muy popular en mi ciudad, traído directamente desde Praga Republica Checa, elaborado por una empresa llamada Conos Praga, que ya cuenta con dos sedes en la ciudad.
Conos Praga is a Venezuelan company pioneers in the elaboration of Trdelnik cones, a very popular dessert in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. They claim that after two years of study in different cities of that country, they have achieved the closest recipe to the original dessert.
Conos Praga en un emprendimiento venezolano pioneros en la elaboración de los conos Trdelnik, un postre muy popular en Praga, la capital de Republica Checa. Ellos afirmar que luego de dos años de estudio realizados en distintas ciudades de ese país, han logrado la receta más parecida a la original del postre.
Its two locations are in the city of Valencia, Carabobo state Venezuela, they have an atmosphere that alludes to Prague, with decoration and art of the architecture of the city, their tables are adorned with one-gallon containers of Nutella, which leaves you very clear that accompanies this dessert.
Sus dos cedes estan en la ciudad de Valencia, estado Carabobo Venezuela, tienen un ambiente que hace alusión a Praga, con decoración y arte de la arquitectura de la ciudad, sus mesas están adornadas con envases de un galón de Nutella, lo que te deja bien en claro que acompaña a este postre.
What is Trdelnik?
It is a Slovak dessert, believed to be born in Hungary, and is nothing more than a strip of flour dough no more than a finger thick, which is rolled on a kind of wooden skewer known as Trdlo, which roasts as it turns on itself, and when it is cooked, it is sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
Es un postre eslovaco, se cree que nació en Hungría, y no es más que una tira de masa de harina de no más de un dedo de espesor, que se enrolla en una especie de pincho de madera que se conoce como Trdlo, que asa mientras gira sobre sí mismo, y cuando ya esta cocido, es espolvoreado con azúcar y canela.
From what I was able to investigate, originally this dough roll was not conical and was roasted over the coals, which, together with the flavor of cinnamon, give it a particular smoky flavor. Over time it adapted to a conical shape, and its way of cooking it changed, so that it looks more like an ice cream, and make the most of the dessert, filling it with different flavors and topins.
Por lo que pude investigar, originalmente este enrollado de masa, no era cónico y se asaba a las brasas, que, junto al sabor de la canela, le dan un sabor ahumado particular. Con el tiempo se adapto a una forma cónica, y se cambió su manera de cocinarlo, para que se parezca mas a un helado, y aprovechar al máximo el postre, rellenándolo de distintos sabores y topins.
I had the opportunity to see the process of creating the cone, I asked for the recipe for the dough, but they did not want to tell me, although the internet is full of many recipes. The interesting thing is the process that you can see below, highlighting the detail that the cone where the dough is rolled, is made of wood, to give it a particular flavor.

There is the option of eating the cone alone, or spread inside with Nutella, white chocolate, among others. But the most popular option is accompanied with ice cream, of the traditional flavors, but with many toppings, of the most popular Venezuelan candies, or even with brownie.
Existe la opción de comer el cono solo, o untado en su interior con Nutella, chocolate blanco, entre otros. Pero la opción mas popular es acompañada con helado, de los sabores tradicionales, pero con muchos topins, de las golosinas mas populares de Venezuela, o incluso con brownie.
My favorite is the full one that is spread with Nutella on the inside of the cone, and they also put brownie in the bottom. On top, I like dark chocolate ice cream to counteract the excess sweetness with a brownie topping and Hershey's syrup.
Everything sounds very good, but it also has its weaknesses, one of them is the quality of its ice cream, it is definitely not the best, it is not creamy and it melts quickly, however, its taste is not bad. The main attraction of this dessert is the cone, but when you have eaten all the ice cream and start biting into the cone, you can start to feel saturated with sugar, because it is quite covered, so it is a good option to order an ice cream base citric.
Mi favorito es el full que en la parte interna del cono esta untado con Nutella, además te colocan brownie en el fondo. Arriba me gusta que el helado sea de chocolate amargo para contrarrestar el exceso de dulce con topping de brownie y sirope Hershey's.
Todo suena muy bueno, pero también tiene sus debilidades, una de ellas es la calidad de su helado, definitivamente no es el mejor, no es tan cremoso y se derrite rápidamente, sin embargo, su sabor no es malo. El atractivo principal de este postre es el cono, pero cuando has comido todo el helado y empiezas a morder el cono, puedes empezar a sentirte saturado de azúcar, debido a que está bastante cubierto, por eso es una buena opción pedir una base de helado cítrico.

In conclusion, it is a good dessert, and it is something different that is worth trying, its presentation is impressive, and we know that many of us eat with our eyes, so, if you want to impress someone, it is an excellent choice for a date ;-).
En conclusión, es un buen postre, y es algo distinto que vale la pena probar, su presentación es impresionante, y sabemos que muchos comemos con la vista, así que, si deseas impresionar a alguien, es una excelente opción para una cita.
My kids love to eat it, well, what kid doesn't love to eat ice cream hahaha. This place has become an excellent option for a family outing, after the kids play in the park, or after a movie night, it's a great opportunity to go for some ice cream, or if you prefer you can order a delivery.
Mis hijos adoran comerlo, bueno, que niño no adora comer helado hahaha. Este sitio se ha convertido en una excelente opción para una salida familiar, luego de que los niños jueguen en el parque, o después de una noche de cine, es una gran oportunidad ir por unos helados, o si bien lo prefieres puedes pedir un delivery.
