Hai everyone!
What do you usually do on weekends? I usually hang out with my friends. However, because it is currently in a pandemic and is prohibited from leaving the house, so I usually only watch movies at home. Before watching movies, I usually prepare snacks to eat while watching movies. Today I prepared food that is easy to cook. I thought it would be great if I shared the recipe with you.
The name of this food is sweet fried bananas. Maybe some of you who come from Indonesia are very familiar with this food. Yes, because this food is widely sold on the streets in Indonesia. In Indonesia we often called gorengan that's mean Fried foods. Gorengan is very cheap foods but people are like this so much because it's taste so good. Actually there are many kinds of gorengan, but this time what I will discuss is sweet fried bananas.
Alright, let's get started!
Ingredients:
Sweet Bananas
Wheat flour
sugar and salt to taste
water
Cooking oil
Steps:
- cut and shape the bananas as you like. I usually form it like a fan.
- Make the dough by mixing together flour, sugar to taste, salt to taste, then add enough water then stir until blended. Make the dough not too runny but not too thick either.
Put the bananas in the dough and make the bananas fully wrapped in the dough.
Heat the oil and then when it's hot, add the bananas that have been wrapped in dough.
Turn the banana over so it doesn't burn. After turning slightly yellowish, remove from the pan and drain.
Serve on a plate.
