Today I want Green coconut, I very lucky have a friend when I was in college who opened a Green coconut business in my city. Come on, my friends, let's see my friend is selling his wares.
The clock still shows 17.00 WIB and the time to break the fasting is still around 1 hour and 45 minutes, but my friend is already busy peeling green coconuts ordered by his customers.
"Pon" was my friend at the college. He decided to drop out because he could not afford to pay tuition and became the men of his family.
The choice of Pon took at that time was very worrying, but who would have thought, 10 years passed Pon became one of the successful Green coconut traders in my city.
Every day Pon gets orders for 150 to 200 Green coconuts, and entering the fasting month Pon's turnover has skyrocketed, of course, like the price of Hive coins today!
In the month of Ramadan Pon does not work alone. He involves his younger brothers who are on free from school. Because the demand for green coconut increases during the fasting month, Pon has to stock up at least 500 coconuts every day. fantastic amount isn't it?
What's interesting about the way to sell green coconuts that Pon is working on is, he only peels the coconut and takes its contents and places it in plastic. He doesn't give sugar or lime, or even add syrup to the green coconuts he sells. On the other hand, he sells natural green coconut, the price is also relatively cheap, he sells 1 coconut for IDR 6000 rupiah.
Young coconut is indeed one of the most sought after drinks in the month of Ramadan for iftar beverage. In addition to fresh water, it is believed that green coconut fluids can help restore body ions that have been fasting all day.
Today I bought 5 Green coconuts from Pon, because I am his friend, he only asked to pay IDR 25,000 rupiah. I got a discount of IDR 5000 rupiah for the 5 young coconuts I ordered.
Pon's natural green coconut outlet is the bestseller in my city, just look at the mountain of coconut shell trash, even though it's still about 1 hour 45 minutes to break when I buy coconut from him.
While waiting for my turn for the coconut to be wrapped, I took some pictures at Pon's natural green coconut outlet. He is seen continuing to spur his stalks and hit the coconuts that have been ordered by his customers.
