By the way, that is actually the name of this bar, 1862 Dry Bar, right at the heart of Madrid. It's been voted numerous times as one of the best bars to visit in Madrid. It is very medieval and they have tried as much as they can to maintain the original state of the building from pre historical times.

It looks almost as someone's house before it was a bar. The basement has been re-designed to accommodate more people, though technically it's a very small bar and normally you'd have to book a table in advance.

It's very popular for great cocktails, I was not disappointed. I had a margarita first, which was really strong but great. Then I decided to try the VooDoo Grog, it's a 6 in one kind of cocktail, and boy was it delicious!
