Hello everyone, today is a sunny day, the perfect day to participate in the TRADITIONAL SOUPS contest. I had been wanting to participate for days but had been a bit busy, however, here is this incredible recipe. It is the well-known Pisca Andina, it is a very typical broth from the Venezuelan Andes that is generally prepared and consumed for breakfast.
With this amount of specific ingredients, 4 soup bowls are produced.
Ingredientes: | Ingredients:
- 4 huevos (1 por persona) | 4 eggs (1 per person)
- 4 papas grandes (1 por persona) | (4 large potatoes (1 per person)
- 2 ajos | 2 garlic
- 1 rama de cebollín | 1 sprig of chives
- 1 rama de ajoporro | 1 branch of garlic porro
- 1 tira de cilantro | 1 coriander strip
- 100 ml de leche líquida | 100 ml of liquid milk
- 1 cucharada grande de mantequilla | 1 large tablespoon of butter
- Sal al gusto | Salt to taste
The first thing we must do is wash all our ingredients very well. In a pot we put 1 liter of water to boil and add the amount of salt to taste. While the water boils, we can chop the chives, coriander, garlic joint into small pieces. We can also peel the potatoes and cut them into slices.
In a pan we add the dressings with a tablespoon of butter and let it fry just a little later, we reserve. We take the garlic and crush it. Next we observe if the water is boiling and we add the potatoes, when they are soft we add the seasonings and the ready garlic and let it cook a little so that it takes on a taste.
After about 6 minutes that our broth picks up taste with the dressings, we add the eggs one by one, I use a technique that I like in case the eggs are damaged, is to add one by one in a posillo and if it comes out well I add it to the broth . After about 5 minutes we add the liquid milk and wait about 8 minutes. This is how our Pisca Andina broth is ready to serve.
Besos
This broth is used to accompany with Venezuelan arepa and the respective coffee with milk. When the broth is served on the plate, chopped cilantro is added on top to decorate. And that's how easy it is, nutritious and delicious. A hug, any questions write to me. Kisses
