A Witch in the Kitchen: "Delicious Creamy Dalgona Coffee Ice Cream" [EN] // Una Bruja en la Cocina: "Delicioso Helado Cremoso de Café Dalgona" [ES]

Is there anything more delicious than coffee and ice cream? Of course, there is! Coffee ice cream, but not just any coffee ice cream is delicious, it has to be creamy, soft as a sponge, and loaded with lots of sweetness because that's how ice creams have to be, that's why it's one of the biggest guilty pleasures and without a doubt the biggest of mine. A good portion of ice cream on a hot afternoon falls like from heaven, so I always try to have at least one jar of ice cream in the freezer, this time it was the turn of coffee ice cream.

Recently became viral dalgona coffee, which is nothing more than instant coffee sugar, ice water, and lots of air, this forms a kind of foam really delicious, so I wanted to add this to my ice cream, and the result was great because, to tell the truth the taste is delicious and adds a little more creaminess to our already delicious ice cream base. My parents and my Mathias love coffee as much as I do (although I tell you that I hated it before) and coffee ice cream is one of our great favorites, so with this one, they were more than happy and satisfied.

Preparing it is really simple, but indisputably you will need an electric mixer to give it the air that the milk cream needs. Join me and I'll show you how to prepare this delicious dalgona coffee ice cream.

Ingredients

200 gr Cream milk
½ Cup Condensed milk
3 Tsp Instant coffee or instant coffee
5 Tsp Icing sugar
3 Tsp Ice water

Preparation

Preparation time 15 Minutes
Cooking Time N/A

To begin we will prepare the dalgona coffee, for this, we add in a cup or bowl, the instant or soluble coffee, the powdered sugar, and the ice water, with the help of a mixer we begin to mix until we form a foam as seen in the image, this will take us about two minutes, we reserve covered in the freezer. I use more sugar than coffee and water because being for ice cream, we need a higher touch of sweetness, and so that we do not have lumps of sugar is necessary to be powdered sugar.

Continue beating the cream, when it has tripled its volume, add the condensed milk in a trickle, continuing to beat, and finally add the dalgona coffee we prepared earlier, mix with the help of a paddle and enveloping movements, so as not to lose the air already incorporated previously. Cover and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours before serving.

The coffee combines perfectly with chocolate, so to decorate I put some chocolate with hazelnuts and a little caramel syrup or dulce de leche, chocolate drops are never too much, so why not put an extra. The flavor and aroma of coffee can be felt even when serving it, and it is one of the things that makes you fall in love with this delicious ice cream.
