Arroz con Leche Rice with Milk.png

Today i'm going to teach you how to make a simple but yet worthy a king recipe, rice with milk. This recipe isn't exactly exactly exclusive from my country, but it's a very traditional dessert that we are used to eat during all year. There are lots of varities, but this is how we make it in my country.

We'll need:

  • A cup of rice
  • A cup of milk
  • 6 Sugar tablespoons
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Vanilla (optional)

Necesitaremos:

  • Una taza de arroz
  • Una taza de leche
  • 6 cucharadas de azúcar
  • Canela (opcional)
  • Vainilla (opcional)

Preparation/Preparación

1

We cook the rice as we usually do but just a pinch of salt and absolutley nothing more.

2

We pour the milk on a pot with slow fire, add the sugar, the cinnamon or vanilla and wait for boiling.

3

Add the rice to the pot with milk and stir to avoid sticking.

4

Once the rice has the consistency and flavor you want, turn it off and let it cool down, don't worry if it seems to be very liquid, it will thicken quite a bit once it's cold and even more after being refrigerated.

5

Time to serve it, you can eat it while it's still warm, but I prefer it cold and that's why I keep it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
