Today I want to show you our breakfast every day, you already know that in Venezuela we eat ¨arepa¨, it is our traditional dish and that it accompanies many meals, it is made filled with anything or as an accompaniment to some delicious eggs as in this case.

In Venezuela there is a product called ¨Harina Pan¨, it is a brand of precooked corn flour that is made in our country and distributed to other countries. The most difficult thing about making an arepa is to make its round shape, it takes practice so that it comes out well formed and beautiful.

To make the arepas dough:

Flour
water and
Salt

You must add water to the flour until the dough is made. The secret is to knead a lot and not to have lumps. A 5 minute kneading will be fine. Then you take a ball the size of your hand to give it the round shape.

Another way to eat them is fried, these are stuffed with sliced cheese, tomato, onion rings and seasoned with adobo. They are then fried and served.

These arepas have history. They are called mama pancha because that was the name of a lady who made us these arepas every time we visited her. in honor of her we call them ¨Mamá Pancha¨

Another dish that can be made with this same dough is empanadas. You stretch the dough with your fingers on a piece of plastic wrap and add the filling. You close the pie by making a half moon. The paper will help you manipulate the dough.

Then you fry them in hot oil and serve them with tartar sauce or so, alone. It is a very popular breakfast in the stalls that sell fast food and it is very easy to make at home. The children's lunchbox is never missing for them to have breakfast at school.
This is my entry to the contest. Here I leave the link in case you want to participate:

Traducción al Español:

Hola amigos.

Thank you so much to @@@anggreklestari and to @foodiesunite for the support.

Yummy breakfast @isabelpena, quite a versatile dough, thank you for sharing your traditional foods with us:)

Your welcome friend @lizelle I like to publicize what we eat and know what they eat in other parts of the world.

Yummy meal! They look like they will be filling and provide the energy needed for a productive morning. They all look new to me except one which is empanadas. It looks like a snack made here called curry puffs.

That's the good thing about this platform, exchanging culture, food, names of things like empanada. Good to know what you call it but it still has the same function, breakfast. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience @yashny
