(ENG-ESP) Exquisite baked fish with bell pepper, carrot and onion

Good evening friends, welcome back to my blog, I hope you have had a great weekend.... I haven't prepared fish for a long time, taking advantage of the fact that every Sunday they sell fish and seafood near my house, today I bought this type of fish that I had never tried, it is called canary fish, for those who have the opportunity to get it I recommend it, if I had to describe it I would say that its flavor is very delicate, and its consistency is VERY soft and juicy. I thought it was great to cook it in the oven, to take advantage of the baking process to give it a juicy texture, and to give it a beautiful color I decorated it with: bell pepper, carrot and onion.

Buenas noches amigos, bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, espero que hayan pasado un fin de semana genial... Tenía tiempo que no preparaba pescado, aprovechando que todos los domingos venden pescados y mariscos cerca de mi casa, hoy compré éste tipo de pescado que jamás había probado, se llama pescado canario, para los que tengan la oportunidad de conseguirlo se los recomiendo, si tuviera que describirlo les diría que su sabor muy delicado, y su consistencia es MUY suave y jugosa. Me pareció genial cocinarlo al horno, para así aprovechar que el proceso de horneado aportará una textura jugosa, y para darle un hermoso colorido lo decoré con: pimiento, zanahoria y cebolla.

  • Con ayuda de un cuchillo extraemos las escamas del pescado, procedemos a lavar MUY bien y realizamos un corte de extremo a extremo de forma "horizontal" y un pequeño corte lateral cerca de la cabeza.

  • Place our appetizing fish in a refractory container, add oil at the bottom of the container to prevent sticking during the cooking process. Place a touch of olive oil on top of each fish.
  • Incorporamos en un envase refractario nuestros apetitosos pescados, añadimos aceite en el fondo del envase, para así evitar que se pegue durante el proceso de cocción. Colocamos encima de cada pescado un toque de aceite de oliva.

  • In this step we proceed to incorporate the ingredients that will provide an exquisite contrast to our dish... We integrate the onion, the bell pepper (preferably red) and the carrot. Add dried oregano.

  • Bake at 180º for 45 minutes or until it is ready. I suggest covering the container with aluminum foil and when you check that there are a few minutes left to bake, remove the foil to brown a little.

  • En éste paso procedemos a incorporar los ingredientes que aportarán un exquisito contraste a nuestro platillo... Integramos: cebolla, pimiento (preferiblemente rojo) y zanahoria. Añadimos orégano seco.
  • Horneamos a 180º durante 45 minutos o hasta comprobar que está listo. Les sugiero tapar el envase con papel de aluminio y cuando comprueben que faltan pocos minutos para su cocción, extraen el papel de aluminio para que se doren un poco.
