Hola a todos, como se encuentran? Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una bonita experiencia del fin de semana, donde mi hermano y yo fuimos a un restaurante que se especializa en papas fritas! Además de tener recetas clásicas como las papas fritas con tocineta y queso cheddar, también tienen recetas más exóticas, como papas con cangrejo o pollo empanizado con salsa de tomate.
Hello everyone, how are you? Today I want to share with you a nice experience of the weekend, where my brother and I went to a restaurant that specializes in French fries! In addition to having classic recipes like Cheddar Bacon Fries, they also have more exotic recipes like Crab Potatoes or Ketchup Chicken Breaded.
También el restaurante tiene otros platos como los panchos (que son como los perros calientes, pero más crujientes) y maicitos con acompañamientos como las papas fritas, aunque si vas a un restaurante de papas fritas, debes pedir papas fritas, jajaja.
The restaurant also has other dishes such as hot dogs (which are like hot dogs, but crunchier) and cornstarch with accompaniments like French fries, although if you go to a French fries restaurant, you must order French fries, jajaja.
Otra cosa que me pareció muy interesante, es que al menú puedes acceder escaneando un código QR, aunque también lo podías pedir en físico, para mí gusto por la pandemia agradezco este tipo de cosas.
Another thing that I found very interesting is that you can access the menu by scanning a QR code, although you could also order it physically, for me, because of the pandemic, I appreciate this kind of thing.
Mientras esperamos nuestro pedido, subimos al segundo piso y esperamos tranquilamente a que llegara nuestro pedido, con una visión de una de las esquinas más transcurridas de mi ciudad.
While we waited for our order, we went up to the second floor and quietly waited for our order to arrive, with a vision of one of the most lapsed corners of my city.
Cuando nos entregaron la comida nos dimos cuenta de un detalle más que interesante, de la cocina hay como una especie de "ascensor", allí suben la comida e inmediatamente hay alguien que te entrega tu pedido.
When the food was delivered we realized a more than interesting detail, the kitchen is like a kind of "elevator", there the food is raised and immediately there is someone who delivers your order.
Si llegan a ver, la bandeja tiene como unos cuadritos pequeños donde van los conos con las papas, muy llamativo el sistema.

La presentación está muy bien, aunque esperaba algo un poco diferente en cuestión de las salsas.
The presentation is very good, although I expected something a little different when it comes to the sauces.
Primero probamos las papitas con pollo empanizado y la salsa de tomate, aunque me decepcione un poco porque pensé que más en una salsa con un toque más italiano, y no tanto en ketchup. Las papas están bien, y el pollo empanizado con buen sabor, también habían unos pocos trozos más en la mitad del cono.
We first tried the breaded chicken chips and tomato sauce, although I was a bit disappointed because I thought more in a sauce with a more Italian touch, and not so much in ketchup. The potatoes are fine, and the breaded chicken tasted good, there were also a few more chunks in the middle of the cone.
Y como amantes de lo clásico, no pudimos no pedir estas papitas fritas. La cantidad de tocineta estaba muy bien, aunque mi decepción fue la salsa de queso cheddar, ya que me hubiese gustado más que vinieran ya en las papas, además a quien no lo gusta el queso fundido, entre más mucho mejor, jajaja.
And as lovers of the classics, we couldn't not order these potato chips. The amount of bacon was very good, although my disappointment was the cheddar cheese sauce, since I would have liked more that they came already in the potatoes, also who does not like melted cheese, the more the better, jajaja.
No les voy a mentir, no es nada del otro mundo, aunque por su precio, 25.000 pesos colombianos, casi 8 dólares, fue algo diferente y una excusa para comer una buena merienda, la aproxima vez pediremos algo más exótico, jajaja.
I am not going to lie to you, it is nothing to write home about, although for its price, 25,000 Colombian pesos, almost 8 dollars, it was something different and an excuse to eat a good snack, the next time we will ask for something more exotic, jajaja.
