I worked from home for about 3 months since Covid-19 has started. At the beginning of August, I got back to work at the office again. So, I don't have time to post like before but I will try to write a post when I have time. I am afraid you might forget me.
In this post, I'd like to share a recipe for fried shrimps with tamarind sauce. This is sweet, sour, and not spicy that it is my favorite dish.
Serves: 2 people
Ingredients
1.Shrimps, 10
2.Tamarind sauce, 60 ml.
3.Coconut sugar, 1.5 tablespoons
4.Fish sauce, 1 tablespoon
5.Coriander, 1
6.Cassava flour, 2 tablespoons
7.Water, 20 ml
8.Oil for frying
9.Garlic, 3-4 pieces
10.Fried onion, 2 tablespoons.
Preparation Method
1.Remove shrimps shell and do like the picture.
2.Cut garlic.
Directions for cooking fried shrimps with tamarind sauce.
1.Coat shrimps with cassava flour and fry in a pan and set aside in a bowl.
2.Fry cut garlic until it turns slightly yellow and starts smelling. And set aside in a bowl.
3.Put tamarind sauce, coconut sugar, and fish sauce on a pan or pot and mix them together, stir until coconut sugar is dissolved.
4.Put fried garlic and onion into the mixture and mix together.
5.Paste the mixture into the fried shrimps.
6.Serve on a dish with rice.
This dish is not spicy, and is suitable for any age. You can try to make it at home.
