in Foodies Bee Hive3 years ago

A different way of making fritters not with the typical cassava, today we will prepare them from Ocumo, another very rich and sweet vegetable

Solo necesitaremos

  • Ocumo
  • Harina de trigo
  • Azucar
  • Clavos de olor
  • Anis dulce
  • Canela

Llevamos nuestro ocumo ya pelado a cocinar

We will only need

  • Ocumo
  • Wheat flour
  • Sugar
  • Cloves
  • Sweet anise
  • Cinnamon

We remove the shell from the Ocumo and take to cook

After being cooked we take to a bowl and crush

Bring the cinnamon, cloves, anise to boil and then pour over the vegetables

We add wheat flour and knead until we have a manageable dough

Y hacemos pelotas

And we make balls

Llevamos a freir

We take to fry

When they are already fried, let's prepare a caramel and spread it on top

Y tendremos listo nuestros buñuelos

And we will have our fritters ready

The ocumo is very versatile, it can be used in savory and sweet dishes. This alternative that you offer is quite interesting, I have never seen fritters prepared with ocumo, since they are traditionally made with yucca, but it is an option that would surely surprise for all. Your step by step is well explained, it would be ideal for the brief introduction you make to your post to be a little longer, with more information so that readers know something about the recipe beforehand. On the other hand, although you have made a list with the ingredients, I do not see the quantities, and this is NECESSARY, especially if it is sweet dishes. Remember that your post will be read by many people, and some of these people may not have notions of cooking, which is why everything must be well explained. Likewise, it is necessary that you open the focus of the photos a little more, that you give us a little more of the context of the preparation and do not focus only on the content of the plate or the pot, but a little more on the context, the area of work. Greetings.

Saludos.
