Recently we went out with my family to a renowned marine restaurant in my country Peru, “La Mar”. This is a restaurant that is on the “Latin America 's 50 Best Restaurants” list, so expectations were high.
Hace poco realice una salida con mi familia a un restaurante marino reconocido en mi país Perú, “La Mar”. Este es un restaurante que sale en la lista “Latin America 's 50 Best Restaurants”, así que las expectativas eran altas.
At the beginning, as a courtesy of the restaurant, they served us some native chips type lays with some spicy sauces to accompany, delicious.
Al comienzo, como cortesía del restaurante, nos sirvieron unas papitas nativas tipo lays con unas salsas picantes para acompañar, deliciosas.
Then we place the main order for various dishes. I show below both the dishes and my impressions of each one.
Luego realizamos el pedido principal de diversos platos. Muestro abajo tanto los platos como mis impresiones de cada uno.
Mixed Ceviche - A local classic. Delicious but not the best I've ever had, if you've never tried it you won't be disappointed.
Ceviche mixto - Un clásico local. Delicioso pero no el mejor que haya probado. Si nunca lo has probado no te decepcionará.
Sudado - A soup made from fish fillets. Warm was excellent for this winter.
Sudado - Una sopa realizada en base a filetes de pescado. Caliente quedo excelente para este invierno.
Tallarin Saltado - A mixture of tagliatelle with fish and shellfish. It mix well with the other dishes.

Cachanga a la leña - A dish that reminds me of Quiche, but filled with seafood and made Parmesan. It gave the food a sweet tone.

Tacu Tank - a funny name for a huge tacu tacu topped with prawn sauce. My favorite dish of this feast.
Tacu tanque - un nombre gracioso para un tacu tacu inmenso cubierto con salsa de langostinos. Mi plato favorito de este festín.
Already full, we did not need any dessert. A highly recommended restaurant.
Ya llenos, no necesitamos de algún postre. Un restaurante muy recomendable.
