Last month, me along with three other friends from work planned to experience some new taste and new style of burger. One of them shared the info that he knows a place which is not that popular but its new style of burger and its taste is awesome. We all agreed for the same and met at decided time however, one of our friend missed out due to some other commitments.
On our way to that new place, our friend told us that he don’t know the exact address but we will find out. Unfortunately, we were unable to find that burger shop, roaming around here and there but clueless. Finally, I asked other friend to take the responsibility and take us to some nice burger shop near his place as he always used to say that there are many good places to eat near his place.
He confidently took us to Shafeeq Bhai Burger Point which is located in Nazimabad No. 1, different town and little further from where we were. I never heard this name but let’s give it a try. My friend was little nervous because he knows if we won’t like it then what is going to happen with him, pulling his leg all week long.
It was not a big restaurant or any luxurious place, just a small shop with people all around it waiting for their take away. Crowd shows that this place is a hit and has taste. Luckily, when we entered, couple of boys left and we got their table.
We ordered Anda Shami Burger meanwhile, there was a man in our table so I started asking him about this place. He said it’s a very old burger point and he is seeing this place since his childhood. Taste and quality is not changed since then, its still the same and that is the reason people from all over Karachi visit and enjoy burger here.
Finally, the long wait was over and we got our burgers. It was looking like an ordinary burger, nothing special with the texture or bun or sauce, same chutney and ketchup. Time to taste it and wow its taste was different, not like an ordinary burger from every other shop. Its all about the Shami kabab, it was delicious. Chutney was good one too. I finished it in no time and then ordered hunter beef burger.
Watching us loving the burgers, my friend at big relief. He was feeling proud as if he made these burgers for us lol
My other friend ordered chicken burger just to check its taste too. The other two burgers later on were just ok, not that much tasty as we enjoyed Anda Shami burger.
This guy was full of energy and was serving tables, very calm and humble personality. Not easy to handle different type of customers and fighting with the take away guys to serve the table first.
Time to meet the owner of this tasty burgers, Shafeeq Bhai, who was too busy in cooking. He started all this when he was young and worked hard and maintained the taste which attracted people and doubled business, a true trusted brand as per people over there.
People were just going crazy to take those burgers at home. I excused many to take these pictures, the pan which when starts never gets empty till midnight or maybe when their material is all done for the day. We really enjoyed and had fun out there, taste was up to the mark and already recommended many to visit this place.
