Tasty Vegetable Spring-roll Filling

Hello Dear Foodies!

Today, I would like to show you how I make my vegetable spring roll fillings. Soft in the inside and crispy and crunchy on the outside.

This tasty Dim Sum can be served as an appetizer or snack. It may require a little time to make it, But it's worth it. I remember being sold it as street food back home, Delicious with crushed garlic and vinegar to dip.

Top Tip
Making a batch of spring rolls and stacked them in the freezer will always save you on an impromptu party. An excellent crowd - pleaser.

Ingredients

Oil, 2 tbsp
Soy sauce, 2 tbsp
Ground black pepper
Garlic, minced
Onion, diced
Carrots, jullienne
Red capsicum, jullienne
Mushrooms, finely chopped
Cabbage, finely chopped
Mung Bean sprouts

Preparations

  • In a preheated pan with oil, Saute Garlic and onion until soft and aromatic.

  • Add the carrot and capsicum, Stir for a few minutes.

  • Add in the soy sauce and mix. Cover with lid and Let the flavor sit in.

  • Add the remaining vegetable. Cabbage, mushroom and young bean sprouts. Stir for a few minutes.

  • Adjust the seasoning. Let it cool before wrapping in a spring roll wrapper.

You can always eat it alone like that if you don't want them in a wrapper. The option is endless, you can also have the filling with bread, tortillas or add it to your omelette.
