Green lentil soup with yogurt

Hi guys!

Again, I am here with a recipe that includes legumes. You know, legumes are the foods we should consume with high protein values. This time we're going to make a legume soup. This soup contains chickpeas and green lentils. Before moving on to the tariff, I would like to tell you a little bit about the benefits of green lentils.

Like other legumes, green lentils are also rich in protein. Those who want to lose weight should consume plenty of them because they are full and low-calorie. It contains vitamins A, B, K and C. Because it contains high protein, it strengthens our muscle structure. It strengthens our immunity. It balances blood sugar. It is an antioxidant. It is a good source of folic acid, rich in iron.

Ingredients for green lentil soup with yogurt
•2 tablespoons of green lentils
•2 glasses of yoghurt
•3 glasses of water
•1 egg
•1 tablespoon of flour
•1 teaspoon of salt
•1/2 cup noodles
•2 tablespoons of boiled chickpeas
•1 tablespoon of butter
•1 tablespoon of mint

1.First, the onions cut into cubes are roasted in butter until they turn pink.

  1. Add noodles and dried mint on the roasted onions and continue roasting.
  2. Add water on the roasted ingredients and wait for the noodles to cook.
  3. While the curries are being cooked, the green lentils are boiled in a separate pot.
  4. Add green lentils to the cooked noodles.
  5. Whisk yoghurt, flour, salt and egg in a bowl.
  6. This prepared mixture is added on the cooking dish.
  7. Finally, the butter is melted and poured over it and served.
