Banana Choco Chip Muffin
Hello everyone. It's time to share an awesome dessert that is easy to make and a treat that everyone will surely enjoy.
Me and my daughter have always loved baking and she kept asking me to do content on baking. A long time ago we used to have a bakery and to be honest it was hard. I usually wake up around 3 a.m. to start kneading the dough for the bread.
I kinda missed baking but we had to let it go. Well, we can still do a little baking once in a while in our small oven.
For the ingredients, we would need four large bananas. This variety of bananas is called the "Lacatan". I am not sure if it is available anywhere but if not any type of banana would do.
One large egg.
1/4 cup milk
Baking powder and baking soda
Melted Butter
Vanilla extract. If not available you can leave it out. We use a little just to add fragrance.
Chocolate Chips
Half cup of sugar
Salt
Two and a half cups of flour
Now if you get hungry while getting ready to bake. Just take a bite of the banana to get your energy going.
Mash the bananas in a bowl and better to use a potato masher.
Once the consistency is similar to the photo below. You can add the other ingredients.
Pour in the melted butter and the milk.
Crack the egg in the mixture.
Use a hand whisk to mix all the ingredients.
Next add a teaspoon of the vanilla extract.
Add the sugar.
As for the salt just a pinch would do.
Use half a teaspoon of baking powder and baking soda.
Time to add in the flour. Use a strainer to make sure that there would be no lumps.
Make sure to mix all the ingredients very well.
You can now add the chocolate chips. Add as much as you like, the more the merrier.
Prepare the muffin tray. These muffin trays are from our original bakeshop. I think these are the only memento left from our bakery.
Leave some melted butter to brush on the baking cups to prevent it from sticking.
Add the mixture in each cup making sure that it has equal portions.
Preheat the oven and set it to 240. Once you see the muffins puff up lower the heat to 180.
Baking time is 15 to 20 minutes.
You can test the doneness by sticking a toothpick in a muffin. Once you pull it out and no dough sticks on the toothpick it is ready.
We are now ready to eat and I wish I could share with you all. But I guess the recipe would do and the ingredients are readily available almost everywhere.
Hope you liked our recipe for Banana Choco Chip Muffin. Easy to make, great to prepare with friends and family.
Hope to see you again.
