[ESP-ENG] ¡Paticas de Cochino Guisadas con Papas y Zanahorias! / Pig Trotters Stew with Potatoes and Carrots!

¡Feliz domingo estimados amigos de Hive!. En esta oportunidad les tengo preparado este platillo muy sabroso y especial que compartí en familia, muy tradicional en nuestros llanos venezolanos, con vegetales y aliños naturales, espero que les guste.¡Buen Provecho!.

Happy Sunday dear friends of Hive!. This time I have prepared this very tasty and special dish that I shared with my family, very traditional in our Venezuelan plains, with vegetables and natural dressings, I hope you like it. Good taste!.

INGREDIENTES:

  • 2 patas de cochino, 4 tomates pequeños, 3 papas pequeñas, 2 zanahorias, 4 ajíes, 1 ramita de cebollín, 1 ramita de cilanto, 1 pedacito de repollo, sal al gusto, 1 limón, 2 dientes de ajo, aceite, agua.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pig trotters, 4 small tomatoes, 3 small potatoes, 2 carrots, 4 peppers, 1 sprig of chives, 1 sprig of cilant, 1 piece of cabbage, salt to taste, 1 lemon, 2 cloves of garlic, oil, water .

PREPARACIÓN:

PASO 1.

  • Lavar muy bien las patas con el limón, en una olla agregamos agua y llevamos al fuego por media hora.
  • Mientras las patas se ablandan vamos cortando el repollo, las papas y las zanahorias y lo agregamos a la olla.

PREPARATION:

STEP 1.

  • Wash the pork trotters very well with the lemon, in a pot add water and bring to the fire for half an hour.
  • While the pork trotters soften, we cut the cabbage, potatoes and carrots and add it to the pot.

Paso 2.

  • Luego cortamos finamente los aliños y los sofreímos.
  • Transcurrido la media hora agregamos el sofrito de los aliños y sal si es necesario.
  • Dejamos por media hora mas y apagamos, añadimos cilantro picado al final.
  • Dejamos reposar y servimos, en esta oportunidad lo acompañe con arroz, también se puede comer con casabe, yuca, arepa etc.

Step 2.

  • Then we finely cut the dressings and fry them.
  • After half an hour we add the sauce of the dressings and salt if necessary.
  • We leave for half an hour more and turn off, add chopped coriander at the end.
  • Let it rest and serve, this time accompany it with rice, you can also eat it with casabe, yuca, arepa etc.
