Dessert
From honey glazed donuts to ice cream, I love em all. Sadly, I try to control my dessert or sugar intake recently to my diet but I do enjoy a nice tub of icecream on a honey syrup pancake.
For this contest, you must create a dessert dish. Can be anything from ice cream to pancakes, anything that sweetens your tooth after a nice meal. Share with us your recipe and your cooking process. I can't wait!
This contest is in collaboration with @foodiesunite and they will be also rewarding the winners with foodie tokens.

Here you can see the photos of the ingredients I used. In my case I used oatmeal and I would have liked to add nuts or peanuts, maybe some mint essence, but I didn't have any and I thought the idea was to improvise with things we have on hand. Last minute desserts to kill the craving! 😋

Crumbly, sweet, and delicate are the words to describe the Filipino sweet treat polvoron. This favorite Filipino dessert trace its origin from Spain, polvorones. We really do have a lot of foods influenced by Spain.Polvoron has four main ingredients: flour, sugar, milk, and butter. They are shaped into little oblong shapes and wrapped with a colored cellophane or Japanese paper (papel de hapon). Just a short story before I proceed with the recipe. When I was little, I really feel excited eating polvoron especially when I see the colorful wrappers. The wrappers make polvoron more enticing for me!
