Worum geht es genau ?
Nahe dem Hofgut Langenzell plant ein ansässiger Landwirt den Neubau eines Legehennenstalls mit Auslauffläche auf dem Grundstück Langenzell 29 zu errichten.
Ein eingeschossiges fast 7 m hohes Gebäude mit einer Länge von über 100 m und einer Breite von 26 m.
Darin 5 Stallabteilungen für je 3.000 Legehennen, somit insgesamt Platz für 15.000 Hennen.
Zusätzlich ist die Errichtung eines Gebäudes für ein Kotlager 8 x 7 m mit betoniertem Waschplatz und Verladestelle sowie 2 Futtersilos mit jeweils 20 Kubikmetern Fassungsvermögen und einer Höhe von 6 m beabsichtigt.
Die ca. 75.000 m² große Auslauffläche soll mit einem ca. 2 Kilometer langen und 2,50 Meter hohen Zaun umgeben werden.
What exactly is it about ?
A local farmer is planning to build a new laying hen house with an outdoor area on the Langenzell 29 property near Hofgut Langenzell.
A single-storey building almost 7 m high, over 100 m long and 26 m wide.
There are 5 stable compartments for 3,000 laying hens each, so a total of 15,000 hens.
In addition, the construction of a building for a manure store 8 x 7 m with a concrete washing area and loading point as well as 2 feed silos with a capacity of 20 cubic meters each and a height of 6 m is planned.
The approximately 75,000 m² open-air area is to be surrounded by a fence approximately 2 kilometers long and 2.50 meters high.

Tausende Hühner würden ein qualvolles Leben führen, alles für billige Eier.
Nicht nur die Tiere leiden, die Region verliert an Wert.

Wir Langenzeller befürchten, dass durch diesen Bau eine unzumutbare Beeinträchtigung öffentlicher Belange entsteht:
Naturschutz, Landschaftspflege, Bodenschutz und Denkmalschutz werden durch solch einen massiven Eingriff in unsere naturparkähnliche Region gestört und gefährdet!
Extreme Geruchsbelastung ( ca. 2-3 Tonnen Kot TÄGLICH !)
Extreme Geräuschbelastung durch 15.000 Tiere
Zunahme des Lastwagenverkehrs in der unmittelbaren Umgebung und den Zufahrtsstraßen
Belastung des Grundwassers / Trinkwassers bei Regen laufen die Hinterlassenschaften in die Biddersbach !
Gefahr von Krankheitserregern (Beispiel Vogelgrippe) in der unmittelbaren Umgebung
We Langenzeller fear that this building will result in an unreasonable impairment of public interests:
Nature conservation, landscape conservation, soil protection and monument protection are disturbed and endangered by such a massive encroachment on our nature park-like region!
Extreme odor pollution (approx. 2-3 tons of feces DAILY!)
Extreme noise pollution from 15,000 animals
Increase in truck traffic in the immediate vicinity and the access roads
Pollution of the groundwater / drinking water when it rains, the legacies run into the Biddersbach!
Danger of pathogens (e.g. bird flu) in the immediate vicinity
Auch wenn Ihr nicht direkt betroffen seit, solch eine Massentierhaltung darf es 2021 nicht mehr geben!
Die Profitgier weniger zerstört uns alle.

Im Landkreis Würzburg wurde am Donnerstag, 25. Februar 2021, ein Verdacht auf Geflügelpest amtlich bestätigt. Es handelt sich um die hochinfektiöse Variante H5N8 des Geflügelpestvirus, das beim Geflügel tödlich verlaufende Infektionen verursachen kann. Diese Viren können sich spontan zu einer hochansteckenden Form verändern, die gemeinhin als Geflügelpest bekannt ist.
Bei solch einem Ausbruch wird eine Sperrzone von dem Radius 3 km und eine Beobachtungszone von 10 km errichtet!
In dieser Zone dürfen Haustiere wie Hunde und Katzen sowie sämtliche Geflügelarten nicht mehr frei umherlaufen, damit sie das Virus nicht weiter verbreiten können (Quelle: bwagrar.de)

Belastungen durch Geflügelhaltung werden hauptsächlich durch die Schadstoffe Ammoniak (Kot) verschiedene Spurengase sowie Staub hervorgerufen. Ammoniak zeigt eine versauernde Wirkung auf Gewässer, Böden und Bauwerke und kann zur Überdüngung der Umwelt beitragen. Spurengase wie Schwefelwasserstoff verursachen erhebliche Geruchsbelästigungen in der Nachbarschaft. Staub und Milben können Atemwegserkrankungen auslösen (Quelle: vTI Wissenschaft erleben 1 / 2010).
Hoher Stresspegel bei der Haltung von Tausenden von Hennen, der die Gesundheit der Tiere maßgeblich beeinflusst!
Der Einsatz von Antibiotika ist bei der Massentierhaltung nicht auszuschließen und fördert Resistenzen, wenn sie zu häufig verschrieben werden. Und diese Resistenzen gefährden auch die menschliche Gesundheit. So können bei wiederholter Gabe nach und nach die so genannten multiresistenten Keime entstehen, gegen die kaum noch ein Antibiotikum hilft. „Wenn man die Biologie von Bakterien versteht, dann versteht man, dass jeder Einsatz von einem Antibiotikum dazu führen kann, dass Resistenzen angereichert werden!“

Yup, the turkey farms are just as bad or worse. Kept packed together inside large barns like sardines, never seeing sunlight so their feathers don't even get color until they are gathered and slaughtered for Thanksgiving sales. I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch, but that sure turned me off.

Bei diesen Themen wird immer in zu großem Maßstab gedacht und immer in Verbindung mit riesigen Flächen die versiegelt werden. Kein Huhn auf dieser Welt braucht so viel Beton und Stein. Leider entsteht so etwas immer irgendwo, wenn an einer Stelle verhindert dann an andere Stelle, was es braucht sind Gesetzesänderungen die diese Art der Haltung grundsätzlich verbietet.
Das heisst nicht das ich diese Petition nicht unterstüzen werde, natürlich gebe ich meine Stimme.

Danke, ich stimme Dir zu dass es einer generellen Gesetzesänderung bedarf. Aber mit unserer Landwirtschaftsministerin will ich gar nicht erst anfangen, da kommt bei mir das große 🤮.

Sad thing they get "lucky" if they are gassed saying that as a German sounds really really weird. They also get shredded alive 😩.
I hope the people get enough signatures. Factory farms do not make life easier nor cheaper for people. If people could get laws and rules passed that require a minimum of 10 square feet for every chicken that would solve a lot of the issues. Bird flu rarely starts out in some small farmer chicken coup, it is generally from a large factory farm and they can cover the loss a lot easier than a shoestring budget farmer.
You are right. People also need to overthink their consumption period. The industry makes us believe that we need more and more and everything everyday.
I remember the days when there was meat on a Sunday and that is it. These days you hear the people say 'oh I can't survive a day without meat/eggs etc'. That is just plain wrong but somehow the majority of people got brainwashed.
