Hallo liebe Community,
letzten Monat war es nach 2 Sommern mit Corona wieder soweit, endlich konnte wieder unsere allseits geliebte Kerwe stattfinden. Von allen mit Spannung und Vorfreude erwartet und ich muss sagen, alle Erwartungen erfüllt und übertroffen.
Von Freitags bis Montags weit in die Nacht 4 tage Volksfest mit dem traditionellen Riesenrad, Autoscooter, Loseverkauf, Schießstand, Dosenwerfen und vielem mehr was das Kinderherz begehrt. Die Erwachsenen natürlich auch 😊. Essensstände in allen Variationen von Flammlachs über Schwenkgrill und Crepes bis hin zu Langos. Habe bestimmt 2 Kilo zugenommen an den 4 Tagen.
Die Gewichtszunahme kann aber auch vom Alkoholkonsum kommen. In der historischen Altstadt reihte sich wieder eine bar an die nächste und von Bier über Wein bis hin zu Longdrinks und Cocktails war alles aufgeboten. Wobei ich meist dem Weißwein zugetan war. Ich bin sicher keinen Abend vor 2:00 Uhr nachts nach Hause gekommen. Glücklicherweise wohne ich fußläufig und war nicht auf einen fahrbaren Untersatz angewiesen.
Es war einfach schön so viele menschen, die man lange nicht gesehen hatte wieder einmal bei so einer Gelegenheit zu treffen. Ich glaube für 50 meter Wegstrecke habe ich meist 1 Stunde gebraucht, da man immer wieder jemanden getroffen hat und auf ein Schwätzchen stehen bleiben musste.
Leider ist es schon wieder vorbei und wir müssen 1 Jahr bis zur nächsten Kerwe warten. Aber die Vorfreude ist schon wieder da und wächst von Tag zu Tag. Gibt es so ein Volksfest auch bei Euch?

last month it was after 2 summers with Corona again so far, finally could take place again our all sides beloved Kerwe. Expected by all with excitement and anticipation and I must say, all expectations met and exceeded.
From Friday to Monday far into the night 4 days of fair with the traditional Ferris wheel, bumper cars, lottery ticket sales, shooting range, can throwing and much more what the children's heart desires. The adults of course also 😊. Food stalls in all variations from flaming salmon to swivel grill and crepes to langos. Have certainly gained 2 kilos on the 4 days.
The weight gain can also come from alcohol consumption. In the historic old town lined up again a bar to the next and from beer to wine to long drinks and cocktails, everything was on offer. Whereby I was mostly devoted to the white wine. I have certainly no evening before 2:00 clock at night come home. Fortunately, I live on foot and was not dependent on a drivable.
It was simply beautiful so many humans, whom one had not seen for a long time again once with such an opportunity to meet. I think for 50 meters distance I usually needed 1 hour, because you always met someone and had to stop for a chat.
Unfortunately, it is already over again and we have to wait 1 year until the next Kerwe. But the anticipation is already there again and grows from day to day. Is there such a folk festival also with you?
