Becoming a Dolphin / Mein Weg zum Delphin
Es ist wieder Power Up Day und ein besonderer Tag dazu für mich - ich bin jetzt ein Delphin! Als ich auf "jener anderen Blockchain" begann, war ein Stake von 5000 für mich gar nicht vorstellbar. Das ohne einen hohen Einsatz von "echtem" Geld zu erreichen, konnte einfach nicht funktionieren, dachte ich. Oder?
It's Power Up Day again and a special one for me - I'm a dolphin now! When I started on "that other chain" having a stake of 5000 was inconceivable for me. Reaching that without a major use of fiat money just couldn't work, I thought. Well...
Ich habe zwar Euros investiert - aber nicht viel. Am Anfang, als ich die anfängliche Delegation "abgearbeitet" hatte, erhöhte ich meinen Stake sofort auf 100. Das schien ein guter Ausgangspunkt und genug zu sein, um aktiv an allem teilzunehmen, was auf der Blockchain so gab. Ich habe mehrmals kleine Summen umgewandelt, aber wahrscheinlich nicht mehr als 150 Euro insgesamt. Der Umtausch von Fiat in Kryptowährung ist so mühsam, und ich wollte sehen, wie weit ich ohne sie kommen könnte (ich habe mehr in Splinterlands investiert, vor allem über die Crowdfundings, aber das waren auch nicht einmal 300 €).
I did invest "real" money - but not much. In the beginning, when I had "worked off" the initial delegation, I immediately increased my stake to 100. That seemed to be a good starting point and enough seed money to enable an active handling of all things around the chain. I converted small sums several times, but probably not more than €150 overall. Exchanging fiat into cryptocurrency is such a hassle and I wanted to see how far I could come without it (I invested more in Splinterlands, primarily via the crowdfundings, but that wasn't more than €300, either).
Selbst mit Hilfe des Airdrops nach dem Start von Hive habe ich für mein Delphin-Dasein auf der Blockchain "gearbeitet". Hivebuzz zufolge habe ich bisher Autorenrewards in Höhe von 2818 bekommen - und dies wird noch dazu mein Post Nummer 400!
So even with the help of the airdrop after the start of Hive, I worked on chain for my dolphin-hood. Hivebuzz tells me that my author rewards are 2818 at this moment - and that this will be my 400th post!

Ich wäre nie so lange (und so erfolgreich) auf der Blockchain gewesen ohne zwei Communitys die mir (auf jener anderen Chain und dann auf Hive) eine Umgebung bereiteten, in der ich mich wohlfühle.

Die wöchentlichen virtuellen "Häkelkränzchen" dieser internationalen Gruppe voll mit den verschiedensten Handarbeiten sind ein Höhepunkt meiner Woche. Jede Woche bin ich aufs Neue erstaunt über die Schönheit, die harte Arbeit und den Ideenreichtum, die dort gezeigt werden.
One is the NeedleworkMonday - my first post was a @NeedleworkMonday post. The weekly virtual "meetings" of this international group for knitting, crochet, sewing and other needlework are a high light of my week. Every week I am stunned again by the beauty, the hard work and the richness of ideas that are shown in the posts.
Die andere Community ist die D-A-CH-Community für deutschsprachige Nutzer, kurz "der DACH". Auf der einen Seite ist sie ein Ort, an dem man einfach Smalltalk machen kann, aber die Leute dort beantworten selbst die dümmste Frage, die ein Neuling hat. Und davon hatte ich eine Menge! Ich mag es, dass es ein ruhiger Ort ist, ohne diese Streitereien, die heutzutage so oft online passieren und die zu oft eskalieren. Manche mögen die "Keine Politik etc."-Regel vielleicht nicht, aber der DACH-Discord hat mir geholfen, die Blockchain zu begreifen. Die regelmäßigen Gesprächsrunden mit Informationen über aktuelle oder bevorstehende Ereignisse halten mich auf dem Laufenden, und zusammen mit dem mehrtägigen "Real Life"-Treffen im vergangenen Jahr haben sie mich mehr über die Menschen hinter den Accounts wissen lassen.
The other community is the D-A-CH-Community for German-speaking people on the chain. On one hand it's a place to simply socialise, but the people there will answer even the most stupid question a newbie has. And I had a lot of them! I like that it's a calm place, without these quarrels that are happening so often these days online and that often escalate. Some might not like the "no politics etc." rule, but the DACH-Discord has helped me to "get" the blockchain. The regular virtual meetings with information about current or upcoming events keep me up-to-date and the "real life" camp last year, lasting several days, let me know more about the people behind the accounts.

Wow! Amazing milesone! Congratulations @muscara! So lovely that there are so many diverse interests on the blockchain. I keep on meaning to contribute to needlework monday, but it never happens! lol
Meinen Glückwunsch mag ich dir aussprechen. Ich finde es schön, das Du ein kleines Onlinezuhause in deinen beiden Communitys gefunden hast. Auch mich hält hier mehr der Umgang miteinander, als alles andere. Geld im Hintergrund, ist wohl nicht immer nur "Schlecht", wie ich es gerne mal kritisiere.
Mögest Du deinen Orca schaffen. Und viel Spaß mit dem Häkeln und Stricken und Nähen. Ohne deine Arbeit, wüssten vielleicht viele jüngere Damen gar nicht, wie Wertvoll das ist!
