Heute habe ich mal eine Meldung über Paul McCartney: der Ex-Beatle hat nämlich in seinem Blog verkündet, dass er ein vegetarisches Kochbuch mit den Rezepten seiner 1998 gestorbenen Frau Linda veröffentlichen wird.
Irgendwie schließt sich da ein Kreis - schließlich hat Ernährung schon einmal eine große Rolle in Paul McCartneys Karriere gespielt: sein größter Hit Yesterday hatte nämlich ursprünglich den Arbeitstitel Scrambled Eggs ("Rühreier"). Die russische Beatles-Cover-Band TheBeatLove hat das sogar schon mal rekonstruiert:
Vielleicht findet man in diesem Kochbuch ja auch endlich das Rezept für das berühmte Yellow Submarine Sandwich...
