At New Years we were in Lockdown here in Vienna, Austria. So being stuck at home, by myself, I tried to see what is going on from my balcony at Midnight. It was rather quiet, with the occasional fireworks going off (they were forbidden, the reason cited was that the hospitals are too busy with Covid patients to take care of firework-related injuries). I could hear the noise, but there was nothing to see. So I just took a bored selfie and went inside again.
Zu Neujahr waren wir in Lockdown hier in Wien, Österreich. Da ich alleine zu Hause feststeckte, versuchte ich um Mitternacht von meinem Balkon aus zu sehen, was los ist. Es war ziemlich ruhig, mit gelegentlichen Feuerwerkskörpern (sie waren verboten, der angeführte Grund war, dass die Krankenhäuser zu beschäftigt mit Covid-Patienten sind, um sich um Verletzungen im Zusammenhang mit Feuerwerkskörpern zu kümmern). Ich konnte das Geräusch hören, aber es gab nichts zu sehen. Also machte ich einfach ein gelangweiltes Selfie und ging wieder hinein.

Die Bilder wurden nicht mit Blitz aufgenommen, sondern nur das Umgebungslicht von meinem Innenraum auf den Balkon.
