Hallo liebe Freunde der Blockchain,
seit gestern haben wir uns entschieden, wieder hier zu sein. Es ist nun lange her. 1 Jahr? - Lange auf jeden Fall. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich (wieder) viel verändert. Die Welt dreht sich weiter, für jeden von uns. Jeder hat seine eigene Drehung und Geschwindigkeit. Wo fange ich am besten an, was ist in der Zeit passiert, was kommt in den nächsten Monaten für Veränderungen wieder auf uns zu? Um ehrlich zu sein, der weiße leere Platz würde nicht ausreichen, um alles zu füllen. Daher kürze ich es etwas.
Im November 2019 war auch für uns die Reise zu Ende. Nach 3 langen Jahren. Im Oktober 2019 kam unsere Tochter zur Welt, in Indonesien. Geplant war in Sri Lanka.... doch es kam ganz anders. Generell kann ich heute sagen, dass vieles anders gekommen ist, als ich es gedacht hätte. Erst recht in einer so langen Zeit im Ausland. Die tägliche Planung war der absolute Zufall. Wer wir getroffen haben, wo es uns hingeführt hat, einfach alles. Und es war gut so- es tat sogar richtig gut. Als wir im November 2019 zurück nach Deutschland gekommen sind, war vieles hier fremd geworden, wo erst langsam wieder sich genähert hat. Es ist im Grunde als wenn du von hier weg gehst, da brauchst du auch eine lange Zeit um dich woanders einzuleben, nur eben diesmal anders herum... Auch unsere Tochter hatte damit zu tun, was in Asien galt, gilt hier in Deutschland nicht unbedingt auch. Gesten, Emotionen, Ausdrücke, alles wo man sich neu einstellen musste. Das hat wirklich lange gedauert.
Was ich heute sagen kann, die Menschen auf dieser Reise haben uns sehr verändert. So sehr, dass wir vieles anders sehen- anders fühlen und denken. Sehr schwer in Worte zu fassen. Es ist sogar so, dass wir uns danach sehen, wieder Menschen in anderen Ländern zu treffen, von ihnen zu lernen und uns mit ihnen auszutauschen...
Wie ging es weiter nach der Ankunft hier in Deutschland?
Eigentlich erstmal ganz "normal". Wir sind aus dem Flieger ausgestiegen. :-)
Es war Winterzeit. Doch anstatt mit langer Kleidung, haben wir alle nur noch kurze getragen. Mit T-Shirt und kurzer Hose am Flughafen. Die Wochen vergingen und wir sortierten alles, was wir auf der Reise auf Bild und Video aufgenommen hatten. Es war so viel, über 300 Stunden an Videos. Tausende von Bildern. Eindrücke und Erlebnisse, Erinnerungen an Menschen und Orte. Mehrere Wochen saßen wir daran und sortierten aus. Legten Clip um Clip in das Schnittprogramm, bis daraus ein über 7 Stunden "Film" entstanden ist. Ein Rohschnitt war angelegt. Die Monate vergingen und wir arbeiteten daran, es auf 2 Stunden zu kürzen und einen roten Faden einzufügen. Immer wieder Clips hin und her geschoben, gekürzt, wieder verlängert, verschoben, gelöscht......bis daraus der heutige fertige Dokumentarfilm geboren wurde.
Dass es einmal ein Dokumentarfilm aus dieser Reise wird, hätten wir an Anfang der Reise niemals gedacht. Es ist ein Film daraus entstanden, der von Begegnungen mit den Menschen erzählt. Denn ohne diese Menschen, wäre daraus nie ein Dokumentarfilm entstanden. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns auch entschieden, mit einen Teil der Einnahmen die Menschen aus dem Film zu unterstützten. Freundschaften sind entstanden und halten bis heute noch, trotz der weiten Entfernung und bei manchen auch ohne Internet.
Wie geht es nun weiter?
Ehrlich gesagt, die nächste Reise ist schon in Planung. Wie lange es diesmal sein wird, können wir genauso wenig voraussagen wie beim ersten mal. Es wird wahrscheinlich Mitte 2022 werden, da jetzt noch viele Monate Kinotour vor uns liegen. Es ist irgendwie auch eine Art Reise, wenn auch auf eine andere Art, die genauso aufregend und Spaß macht. Auch auf dieser Reise quer durch Deutschland kommen wir mit vielen Menschen zusammen und neue Freundschaften entstehen. Was wir hier in den nächsten Monaten und Jahre posten werden? Die Reise geht weiter und so auch die Erzählungen von den Menschen, die wir unterwegs treffen werden.

since yesterday we decided to be here again. It has been a long time now. 1 year? - Long in any case. In the meantime, a lot has changed (again). The world keeps turning, for each of us. Everyone has their own spin and speed. Where is the best place to start, what has happened in that time, what changes are coming again in the next few months? To be honest, the white empty space would not be enough to fill everything. That's why I'm shortening it a bit.
In November 2019, the journey was also over for us. After 3 long years. In October 2019, our daughter was born in Indonesia. The plan was to go to Sri Lanka.... but it turned out quite differently. In general, I can say today that many things turned out differently than I would have thought. Especially during such a long time abroad. The daily planning was absolute coincidence. Who we met, where it took us, simply everything. And it was good that way- it actually did really good. When we came back to Germany in November 2019, many things here had become foreign, where only slowly did we get closer again. It's basically like when you leave here, you also need a long time to settle in somewhere else, only this time it's the other way round... Our daughter also had to deal with the fact that what was true in Asia is not necessarily true here in Germany. Gestures, emotions, expressions, everything where you had to readjust. It really took a long time.
What I can say today is that the people on this trip have changed us a lot. So much so that we see many things differently - feel and think differently. Very difficult to put into words. In fact, we look forward to meeting people in other countries again, to learning from them and exchanging ideas with them...
How did things continue after your arrival here in Germany?
Actually, it was quite "normal" at first. We got off the plane. :-)
It was winter time. But instead of wearing long clothes, we all wore shorts. With T-shirt and shorts at the airport. The weeks passed and we sorted through everything we had captured on picture and video on the trip. There was so much, over 300 hours of videos. Thousands of pictures. Impressions and experiences, memories of people and places. We sat and sorted it out for several weeks. Putting clip after clip into the editing programme until it became a 7-hour "film". A rough cut was created. Months passed and we worked on shortening it to 2 hours and inserting a red thread. Again and again clips were pushed back and forth, shortened, lengthened again, shifted, deleted......until today's finished documentary was born.
At the beginning of the journey, we would never have thought that this would one day become a documentary film. It became a film that tells of encounters with people. Because without these people, it would never have become a documentary film. For this reason, we also decided to support the people from the film with part of the proceeds. Friendships have developed and are still going strong today, despite the long distance and, for some, even without the internet.
Where do we go from here?
To be honest, the next trip is already being planned. We can't predict how long it will be this time any more than we could the first time. It will probably be in the middle of 2022, as we still have many months of cinema touring ahead of us. It is somehow also a kind of journey, albeit in a different way, which is just as exciting and fun. Also on this trip across Germany we get to meet a lot of people and new friendships are formed. What will we post here in the coming months and years? The journey continues and so do the stories of the people we meet along the way.
