CineTV Contest: Your Most Favorite Director(s)

in CineTV2 years ago

Greetings!

We are at the end of another contest folks! It is a great pleasure for us to host these contests and get the chance to read the exemplary submissions! The last contest was about your favorite classic movies and you surprised us with a gem of films! It is amazing, isn't it? The world of cinema, the more you see, the more are there to discover. Also, we are lucky to have such erudite film lovers joining in every contest!
Let's get on with it then, shall we?

And here are the winners of the last contest "Your Most Favorite Classic Film(s)".

Congrats!

225 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

But they aren't the only worthwhile ones! Here are the honorable mentions that could very well be in the top 3.

@evaredskin - CineTvContest: 12 Angry men (1957). And Justice for all!

@killerwot - CineTV Contest: Some Like it Hot and The Marx Brothers

@lordtimoty - CineTV Contest: More than a classic film, how about the birth of film? Let's talk cultural significance.

@surrealfia - CineTV Contest: The One Who Is Too Confused About Films

@nbarrios67 - CIneTV Contest: King Kong 1933, my favorite classic movie

@misslasvegas - CineTV Contest:. My favorite classic movies

@hubeyma - Classics of cinema: Dersu Uzala by Akira Kurosawa (1975)

And let's move on to the new contest!

Contest 5: Your most favorite director(s)!

We love movies for many different reasons, and we sometimes attribute our reasons as we feel like, may it be certain actors or story points or something entirely different. However, It is beyond doubt the true artisan of a film is its director. Yet we must also consider that not all film industries view this in the same light and we are aware that not all directors involve themselves in the filmmaking process to the same extent either. Some take it as a job merely, and some control the tiniest details as if they are the master of their universe.

And hence the films become drastically different. A film made by two different directors will never be the same. This difference is also why we fall in love with certain styles a director may possess. We look forward to seeing their newer works, while we fondly reenact scenes from their past ones. It is time to talk about the maestros that make the films happen.

Write about your most favorite director(s)!

Looking forward to reading your entry!
Loved this one as well.

I know I'm speaking for many when I say most people barely take note of who directed what, most credits goes to the characters on screen.

This is a lovely one tho, will be looking to follow the tag to see what movies I can dig up to watch

Congratulations to all the winners and the prizes have been sent! I look forward to reading about everyone's favorite director, but man is it going to be hard to narrow it down for me!

no worries papa, you can always pick multiple ;)

One more thing, what if someone wanted to participate in one of this contests in a video form, not written?

Yeah, that would be alright. :)

This is such an interesting topic. I wanna see the people going outside the "classic" directors to the encorage US to watch new things.

Here is my entry: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@andr3apat1no/espeng-cinetv-contest-my-favorite-director-taika-waititi

I do love my favorite directors...It's going to be a bit easier than the classic movie one, because I really only have 3 on my list this time hehe.
Thanks for the prompt!!

Congratulations to all winners!

This week contest is a tad shorter, are you folks planing on doing 2 per week?
