Сьогодні я переглянула ліванський фільм під назвою "Капернаум" режисерки Надін Лабакі, що вийшов на екрани 2018 року та здобув приз журі на Каннському кінофестивалі. Також стрічку було номіновано на "Оскар" як кращий іноземний фільм.
Цей фільм відрізняється тим, що у ньому зіграли непрофесійні актори: їх обирали на вуличному кастингу. Підбирали акторів, чиї біографії схожі на ті, які запланували в сценарії.

З перших хвилин фільму глядач знайомиться із головним героєм - хлопчиком, який постає перед судом за якусь провину, за яку його засудили. Він навіть не знає, скільки йому років. За даними медичного огляду - приблизно 12. Чому він у в'язниці - стане відомо з сюжету, який покаже шлях цього хлопчика. А він був непростим. Зростаючи в жахливих умовах з великою кількістю сестер та братів, він не любив своїх батьків, які зовсім не піклувалися про дітей. Він не ходив до школи, не вмів читати чи писати, зате працював як раб разом зі своїми братами і сестрами, аби заробити на їжу для всієї сім'ї. Хлопчик був близьким зі своєю сестрою, але її в 11-річному віці "віддали" заміж за дорослого чоловіка. Зейн (ім'я головного героя) важко сприйняв цей факт і втік з дому. Що пережив хлопчик, чому він у в'язниці та чим все закінчиться - дивіться безпосередньо у фільмі.
Фільм гнітючий. Тому варто запастись терпінням при перегляді, крім того, тривалість 2 години. Але кіно варте уваги, щоб замислитись над певними речами.
Капернаум - це древнє місто в Ізраїлі, а також це поняття "хаос" (з французької).
From the first minutes of the film, the viewer gets acquainted with the main character - a boy who appears in court for some crime for which he was convicted. He doesn't even know how old he is. Growing up in terrible conditions with many sisters and brothers, he did not like his parents, who did not care about the children at all. He did not go to school, could not read or write, but worked as a slave along with his brothers and sisters to earn food for the whole family. The boy was close to his sister, but at the age of 11, she was "married off" to an adult man. Zane (the main character's name) took this fact hard and ran away from home. What the boy experienced, why he is in prison and how everything will end - see directly in the film.
The film is depressing. Therefore, you should be patient when viewing, in addition, the duration is 2 hours. But the movie is worth watching to think about certain things.
