Cuando pensamos en películas de ciencia ficción, tendemos a recordar historias de viajes espaciales, viajes en el tiempo, robots, etc; films que tienden a tener grandes presupuestos. Sin embargo, en esta película haciendo uso ingenioso del espacio y una buena idea principal, tendremos un título japonés entretenido, realizado con un corto presupuesto. Se estrenó el 2020, siendo el director Junta Yamaguchi.
When we think of science fiction movies, we tend to remember stories of space travel, time travel, robots, etc; films that tend to have big budgets. However, in this film making ingenious use of space and a good main idea, we will have an entertaining Japanese title, made with a short budget. It was released in 2020, being the director Junta Yamaguchi.
Sinopsis: Kato, después de dejar una cafetería ubicada abajo, y regresar a su apartamento, se ve sorprendido al ver en su televisión a él mismo, hablando desde el futuro, exactamente 2 minutos después, al frente de una tv ubicada en la cafetería. Esto dará comienzo a que tanto Kato como conocidos, intenten sacarle provecho a tan raro suceso.
Synopsis: Kato, after leaving a coffee shop located downstairs, and returning to his apartment, is surprised to see himself on his TV, talking from the future, exactly 2 minutes later, in front of a TV located in the coffee shop. This will start Kato and his acquaintances trying to take advantage of such a strange event.
El film si bien al comienzo muestra al protagonista, sorprendiéndose por tan raro evento, rápidamente pasa a la trama, digamos principal, que es ver a diversos personajes, tratar de sacarle provecho. El lado scifi le da un lado misterioso y divertido, funciona bien mezclado con el carácter cómico de los personajes.
The film, although at the beginning it shows the main character, surprised by such a strange event, quickly moves on to the main plot, which is to see different characters trying to take advantage of it. The scifi side gives it a mysterious and fun side, it works well mixed with the comedic nature of the characters.
Como notaran mientras más avanzan en el film, destaca bastante la organización realizada para llevar a cabo diversos momentos del título. Ya que requerirán coincidir con tiempos exactos, y evitar errores secuenciales. Se nota el buen uso del presupuesto, ya que no requiere diversos escenarios o mucho CGI, para mostrar una historia que funciona y entretiene.
As you will notice the further you advance in the film, the organization made to carry out different moments of the title stands out. Since they will require to coincide with exact times, and avoid sequential errors. The good use of the budget is noticeable, since it does not require diverse scenarios or a lot of CGI, to show a story that works and entertains.
A mi parecer, lo negativo es su corta duración(solo 70 minutos) y un final que no me acaba de convencer del todo. La actuación se siente bastante regular, no destaca.
In my opinion, the negative side is its short length (only 70 minutes) and an ending that doesn't quite convince me. The acting feels pretty regular, it doesn't stand out.
En general, creo que es un título que vale la pena ver. Si te parece divertida la premisa o te gusta la ciencia ficción, es bastante recomendable.
Overall, I think it's a title worth watching. If you find the premise funny or you like science fiction, it is highly recommended.
