This is rookie war

Fury begins in a resounding and energetic way. David shows what material he is made of confirms everything that his previous films had made it known that he is an author with an above-average image management ability.

However, he had already specified in "Sabotage", his another from 2014 with Arnold Schwarzenegger, which functioned exclusively as an exercise in style that he could remember -sometimes- or, without going too far, to Fuqua. Unfortunately, there was a shitty story and something insurmountable, but in "Hearts of Steel" there is a solid script, there are good characters and most importantly, there is a real observation, which makes this movie remarkable as war cinema.

Not excellent, not remarkable, but redeemable from the entire genre in recent years, especially if we know its visual proposal in its proper measure, which refers to "Apocalypse Now" by Francis Ford Coppola, having little in common with the monumental " The Thin Red when it gives the point of view to a character where he would not want to be.

Unfortunately, not everything is good, and there is a particularly ridiculous and even embarrassing moment, which I do not spoil, obviously, but which simply has an on-screen justification and is to show, as sweet and ridiculous as possible, that the wicked are not. so wicked or so good, so good. Fortunately, they didn't spoil the whole movie, which was a great time.

A very acceptable film, some a little uneven but worth the effort. David points out ways, well, his next one will be about superheroes for DC/Warner, which won't allow him to grow as a director.

We'll see.

Hive Power Up Month - Feedback from Day 7

I actually enjoyed the action sequences, despite it being ridiculous at some points.

There are scenes that are not normal, but overall the movie is great
