There was a lot of thunder. The mountain shook.... The next moment a lightning bolt hit the mountain and a huge rock came loose.
It rolled all the way down the mountain and stopped right on the train tracks.
The rock was blocking the tracks and Rabbit that saw what happened knew that this was a very bad thing.
He quickly hopped to his friend Mouse. "We have a problem." he told him. "we have to do something or there will be a huge accident when the one o'clock train come pass with all the school children."
Mouse started crying because she had no idea what to do and she was very afraid that something bad would happen.
Together Rabbit and Mouse went to see Owl. She was the most clever animal in the whole forest and she would know exactly what to do.
"We need someone very strong and I just know who to call", Owl said after a long while.
Rabbit and Mouse were very happy, but who is this strong person that they did not know of?
"It is not a person, it is my friend Eric the Engine. He is very strong. The other trains teases him because he is not fast, but he is much stronger than all of them."
Eric the Engine came and started pushing and pushing until the huge rock rolled off the tracks. Everybody cheered, because it was just in time for the train from school to pass.
The other trains looked at Eric with admiration. "We are so sorry we tease you, you may be slower than us, but you are a true hero."
