It was in the time of distress, in the city of great crying that the wisdom of the poor old woman was remember. Zuto was a great kingdom full of energetic and brave warriors of noble prestige. There have been no records in archive of Zuto that speaks of the Kingdom ever being defeated in a conquest, and so the Zuto kingdom was the most influential in the confederation of All Progressive Communities.
Though Zuto was the most influential kingdom around, they were still in want of a permanent cure for the season illness of their king. King Cater Nzamani the 5th was shot with a diabolic arrow at the leg during one of his conquest with the warriors of Nzueta Kingdom. The effect of the shot cause King Nzamani a terminal illness of fracture which comes with a serious pain every time it comes. Soon the Zuto kingdom began to lose their prestige in the confederation of All Progressive Communities as a result of the king’s illness.
Every time the king becomes ill, he becomes unable to walk and neighboring communities he had conquered attacks them and sometimes retrieves them possessions that was taken. Zuto gradually became a setback in the confederation of All Progressive Communities.
Somewhere around border of the great Zuto kingdom lived a wise neglected old woman whom the Kingdom accused of being a witch resides. She makes her home close to the river bank of Zuto and take solace in the nature all around her. The birds sang her sweet songs of joy every morning and the wild creatures of nature was her strong defense.
The great Zuto kingdom was gradually becoming looser and who is going to rescue the kingdom?
One day Ziba one of the great warriors in Zuto kingdom remember how he almost died in the battle field after being shot with the same demonic arrow that the King was shot with, and recalled that the Old wise woman told her what to do so that he would regain his strength and be free from the illness spell that comes with the arrow. Quickly Ziba ran to the king with glad tiding which he thought would bring great joy to King Nzamani the 5th but on getting to the palace of the king.
When he arrived at the king’s palace and told all of his encounter with the old woman to the King, the king rebuked him never to mention the woman in his palace again as it was against the custom of the land for royalties to associate or take counsel from the poor. What will happen to Zuto?
After much damage and lost respect, the King decided to visit the poor woman and upon his arrival, she told the king to go and take care of all the poor old women in the kingdom because this poor old women as they cried because of their rejection, anguish and neglect, the king’s illness would increase. But still this wasn’t any easy thing for the king to do but finally, the king did it and the fortune of Zuto Kingdom soon returned as the neighboring communities upon hearing that the Great King Cater Nzamani the 5th was whole, they sensed danger coming and returned all that they had taken from the kingdom while King Cater Nzamani the 5th was still ill.
